Heidy Purga (born 18 March 1975) is an Estonian radio and television presenter,television director,journalist and politician. She has been a member of the XIII Riigikogu and XIV Riigikogu. [1]
Purga was sworn in as Minister of Culture in the third cabinet of Kaja Kallas on 17 April 2023. [2] [3] [4]
From 1994 to 1996 she studied theatre director discipline at Tallinn University. In 2002 she graduated from Concordia International University Estonia in electronic media. [1]
She have been the presenter,producer and editor of several television and radio channels. From 2008 to 2015 she was the producer for song contest Eesti Laul. [1]
Since 2014 she is a member of Estonian Reform Party. [1]

Taavi Rõivas is an Estonian politician,former Prime Minister of Estonia from 2014 to 2016 and former leader of the Reform Party. Before his term as the Prime Minister,Rõivas was the Minister of Social Affairs from 2012 to 2014. On 9 November 2016 his second cabinet dissolved after coalition partners,Union of Pro Patria and Res Publica and Social Democratic Party,sided with the opposition in a no confidence motion. At the end of 2020,Rõivas announced quitting politics,and resigned from his parliament seat.

She was the first female prime minister of Estonia,a role she held from 2021 until 2024,when she resigned in advance of her appointment as High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. The leader of the Estonian Reform Party since 2018,she was a member of parliament (Riigikogu) in 2011–2014,and 2019–2021. Kallas was a member of the European Parliament in 2014–2018,representing the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe. Before her election to Riigikogu,she was a lawyer specialising in European competition law.

The third cabinet of Kaja Kallas was the cabinet of Estonia from 17 April 2023 to 22 July 2024. The cabinet was formed following the 2023 parliamentary election. On 15 July 2024 Kaja Kallas,who had been chosen as nominee for High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy in the European Commission,submitted her resignation as Prime Minister,triggering the immediate resignation of her entire cabinet. The cabinet remained in place until the formation of Kristen Michal's cabinet on 22 July.

It includes the events that follow the introduction of a child benefits bill by the governing Centre Party with the support of the opposition Isamaa,Social Democrats and EKRE but without the support of the senior partner in the coalition,the Reform Party.
