Kristo Enn Vaga (born 4 January 1997) [1] is an Estonian racing cyclist and politician representing the Estonian Reform Party (Estonian: Eesti Reformierakond). Following the 2023 Estonian parliamentary election, he was elected to the Riigikogu.
In 2014, he became the Estonian junior champion in road bicycle racing and competed with the Estonia national team U23. [3] In 2015, he took second place in the Estonian Junior Road Championship and ninth place in the European Junior Road Championship and was the Estonian team pursuit champion (with Siim Kiskonen, Tair Stalberg, and Kirill Tarassov), and Estonian team sprint champion (with Kirill Tarassov and Oliver Keller). In France, he finished sixth on the Mont Faron stage of the Tour de la Région Sud PACA Juniors. [4]
For the 2016 season, he signed a contract with the French club Charvieu-Chavagneux Isère Cyclisme, competing in the national division. With it, he achieved several honors, taking fifth in the Nocturne de Montrevel-en-Bresse, seventh place in the Tour de Côte-d'Or, and eighth in the Critérium de Briennon. [4] In his home country, he took seventh place among the elite at the Estonian Championship. He was then recruited by UC Monaco in 2017. [5]
In 2017, Vaga became a member of the Estonian Reform Party. Soon afterward, he moved to the party's youth council and in 2017 became its general secretary. In 2020, he was elected as the chairman of Estonian Reform Party Youth. He was also the chairman of the Kristiine district assembly, worked as an advisor to Minister of Defence Kalle Laanet from 2018 until 2019, advisor to Siim Kallas from 2019 until 2021, [2] [6] and was the campaign manager of the Reform Party for the 2023 Riigikogu elections. He campaigned for the Riigikoku in the 2023 elections, collecting 592 votes in Riigikogu electoral district no. 1 (Haabersti, Põhja-Tallinn and Kristiine) and was elected with a compensation mandate to the XV Riigikogu. [2] [7]
As of 2023, Vaga attends Tallinn University. [8]
On 20 July 2023, he married Stinne Loo. The couple have a daughter. [2] [8]
Parliamentary elections were held in Estonia on 2 March 2003. The newly elected 101 members of the 10th Riigikogu assembled at Toompea Castle in Tallinn within ten days of the election. Two opposing parties won the most seats, with both the Centre Party and Res Publica Party winning 28 seats in the Riigikogu. Res Publica was able to gain enough support in negotiations after the elections to form a coalition government.

The elections proved disastrous for the ruling Estonian Coalition Party, which won only seven seats together with two of its smaller allies. Following the elections, a coalition government was formed by Mart Laar of the Pro Patria Union, including the Reform Party and the Moderates. It remained in office until Laar resigned in December 2001, after the Reform Party had left the same governing coalition in Tallinn municipality, making opposition leader Edgar Savisaar new Mayor of Tallinn. The Reform Party and the Estonian Centre Party then formed a coalition government that lasted until the 2003 elections.
Andrus Ansip is an Estonian politician, a member of the European Parliament, the former European Commissioner for Digital Single Market and Vice President of the European Commission, in office from 2014 until 2019. Previously, he was Prime Minister of Estonia from 2005 to 2014 and chairman of the liberal Estonian Reform Party from 2004 to 2014.
Jüri Ratas is an Estonian politician who served as the prime minister of Estonia from 2016 to 2021 and as the leader of the Centre Party from 2016 to 2023, and the mayor of Tallinn from 2005 to 2007. Ratas was a member of the Centre Party until switching to Isamaa in 2024.

Michal previously served as minister of justice from 2011 to 2012, minister of economic affairs and infrastructure from 2015 to 2016, as well as minister of climate from 2023 to 2024.
Siim Kabrits is an Estonian entrepreneur and former politician. He was a member of Riigikogu from April 6, 2011, to March 26, 2014.
Taavi Rõivas is an Estonian politician, former Prime Minister of Estonia from 2014 to 2016 and former leader of the Reform Party. Before his term as the Prime Minister, Rõivas was the Minister of Social Affairs from 2012 to 2014. On 9 November 2016 his second cabinet dissolved after coalition partners, Union of Pro Patria and Res Publica and Social Democratic Party, sided with the opposition in a no confidence motion. At the end of 2020, Rõivas announced quitting politics, and resigned from his parliament seat.
Kaja Kallas is an Estonian politician and diplomat. She was the first female prime minister of Estonia, a role she held from 2021 until 2024, when she resigned in advance of her appointment as High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
Mihhail Stalnuhhin is an Estonian politician, who was member of Riigikogu from 1999 to 2007 and from 2011 to 2023. Stalnuhhin was a member of the Estonian Centre Party from 1996 until his expulsion in 2022 due to inappropriate statements in an address to the Estonian state and government. Stalnuhhin has been active in local politics in the city of Narva since 1994, serving as chairman of the city council from 2003 to 2011 and from 2024 onwards.

Triple Alliance is a commonly used political term in Estonia to refer to the various coalition governments between the centre-left Social Democratic Party, centre-right Reform Party and conservative Isamaa or their predecessors. This coalition has formed four times in history - from 1999 to 2002, from 2007 to 2009, from 2015 to 2016 and from 2022 to 2023. None of the coalitions governments have lasted a full parliamentary term. All of the Triple Alliance cabinets have been the second ones of the respective Prime Minister.
