Here & Queer is a Canadian web series, which premiered in 2022 on CBC Gem. [1] Hosted by Peter Knegt, the series is a talk show about LGBTQ arts and entertainment, with each episode centred around a conversation with one or two guests associated with a recent LGBTQ-related book, television, film or activism project.

The series won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Original Web Program or Series, Non-Fiction at the 12th Canadian Screen Awards in 2024. [2]

Videofag was a storefront arts space that operated in Toronto, Ontario's Kensington Market from 2012 - 2016. Founded and run by couple William Ellis and Jordan Tannahill, who converted it from an old barbershop, the space became an influential hub for queer counterculture in the city. A flexible multimedia space, Videofag was designed to serve as a cinema, art gallery, nightclub or theatre space depending on the needs of any individual event. It also doubled as Ellis and Tannahill's home. Videofag often acted as a laboratory, in which artists were gifted residencies to explore new ideas. The space helped develop and premiere several shows that went on to high-profile presentations at major theatres and festivals internationally.

Queer Songbook Orchestra are a Canadian chamber pop ensemble, who record and perform orchestral versions of pop songs with meaning to the LGBTQ community. Songs performed by the orchestra do not necessarily have to be explicitly LGBTQ-themed; the group's stated selection criteria permits any song that can be paired with a compelling story about how that song has "touched a queer life in a way".

Canada's a Drag is a Canadian documentary series that premiered on CBC Gem on March 7, 2018. The show was created by Peter Knegt and Mercedes Grundy. Each episode focuses on a drag performer from a different Canadian city, inclusive of drag queens, drag kings and transgender or non-binary performers. It is produced by CBC Arts.

Competing under his drag name, Priyanka, Suknanan won the first season of the reality competition series Canada's Drag Race in 2020. <i>Drag Isnt Dangerous</i> 2023 charity telethon

Drag Isn't Dangerous: A Digital Fundraiser is a charity livestream telethon organized by the Producer Entertainment Group, that was held on May 7, 2023, from 7:00 pm to 11:30 pm (EDT). It was aimed to raise awareness that supports drag and trans organizations. The telethon was hosted by comedian Justin Martindale and drag performer Peppermint, and featured many prominent celebrities and drag performers.
