Huang Haiqiang (born 8 February 1988 in Zhejiang) is a Chinese high jumper.
He won the 2005 World Youth Championships and the 2006 World Junior Championships, the latter in a personal best jump of 2.32 metres. He competed at the 2007 World Championships without reaching the final.
He represented his country in the high jump at the 2008 Summer Olympics, but came in dead last.
He won the 2009 national championships with a jump of 2.24 metres, his best result since the 2007 athletics season. [1]

Andrew Howe is an American-born Italian athlete who specializes in the long jump and sprinting. He won this event as well as the 200 metres at the 2004 World Junior Championships. He was successful at senior level at a young age, winning a long jump bronze at the 2006 IAAF World Indoor Championships before becoming the European Champion later that year. In 2007 he became the European Indoor Champion and won the silver medal at the 2007 World Championships in Athletics.
István Major was a Hungarian high jumper. He won four medals at the European Indoor Championships between 1971 and 1974, as well as two silver medals at the Universiade. His best Olympic performance was a sixth place in 1972.

Mutaz Essa Barsham is a Qatari track and field athlete who competes in the high jump and is the former Olympic Champion. He is also the former World Champion and second highest jumper of all-time with a personal best of 2.43. He won gold at the 2017 World Championships in London, at the 2019 World Championships in Doha, as well as the 2022 World Championships in Eugene. At the Olympics, Barsham originally won the full set of medals with bronze at the London 2012 Summer Olympics, silver at the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics, and shared gold at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics. In 2021, his bronze in the London 2012 Summer Olympics was promoted to silver in a three-way tie for second due to disqualification of the original gold medalist, leaving him with two silvers and a gold. He was the Asian Indoor and World Junior champion in 2010, and won the high jump gold medals at the 2011 Asian Athletics Championships and 2011 Military World Games. Yevgeniy Ektov is a Kazakhstani track and field athlete who competes in the triple jump. He represented his country at the 2012 Summer Olympics, and the World Championships in Athletics in 2009 and 2011. He was the triple jump gold medallist at the 2011 Asian Athletics Championships and was runner-up at the 2010 Asian Games. Ektov has also won medals at the Asian Indoor Games and Asian Indoor Athletics Championships. His personal best for the event was 17.07 metres, set in 2008, improved to 17.22, set in 2012. He is married to Irina Ektova.

Saleh Abdelaziz Alhaddad is a Kuwaiti track and field athlete who specialises in the long jump. He holds the Kuwaiti records for the event with bests of 7.94 m indoors and 8.02 m outdoors. He also holds the national best for the 60 metres, with his time of 6.78 seconds. He represented Kuwait at the global level at the 2008 IAAF World Indoor Championships and the 2003 World Youth Championships in Athletics.
