Georcy-Stéphanie Thiffeault Picard is a Canadian competitive archer from Montreal, Quebec. She attained a top-ten finish as a member of the Canadian archery squad in both the individual and team recurve at the 2015 Pan American Games, and eventually competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics, losing her first round match to Chinese Taipei's team bronze medalist and world-ranked archer Tan Ya-ting. Picard currently trains under the tutelage of her coach Sylvain Cadieux at the Montreal Archery Club.
There were 128 qualifying places available for archery at the 2020 Summer Olympics: 64 for women and 64 for men. The qualification standards were released by World Archery in March 2018. The 2020 Olympics were postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Eric Lingfeng Peters is a Canadian recurve archer. He won gold at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima as part of the team competition alongside teammates Crispin Duenas and Brian Maxwell. Peters also won a bronze in the individual event in Lima, upsetting world record holder Brady Ellison in the quarterfinals. Eric Peters won silver medal in 2023 World Archery Championships where he lost to Mete Gazoz by 6-4 score in Berlin.
