Sir Hugh Southern Stephenson GBE KCMG CIE CVO was a British diplomat. He was the only son of Sir Hugh Stephenson. He was born in Ranchi, India on November 29, 1906. [1] In May 1936, his marriage to Patricia Mills was announced for that July in the Times. [2] Starting in December 1969, he was the appointed director of the St. John Ambulance Association; [3] also, in 1970, he was honored as a knight of The Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem. [4] He died in London, United Kingdom on September 23, 1972. [5] [6]
