Hugo Vegard Vetlesen (born 29 February 2000) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Belgian Pro League club Club Brugge and the Norway national team.
On 5 October 2020, Vetlesen left Stabæk to sign for Bodø/Glimt until the end of 2023. [4] [5] On 7 April 2022, Vetlesen headed in the game-winning goal in a shock 2–1 victory over Serie A side Roma in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa Conference League. [6]
On 3 July 2023, Vetlesen signed for Club Brugge until 2027 in a deal worth a reported €7,750,000. [7]

Fotballklubben Bodø/Glimt, also referred to as Bodø/Glimt or its former name Glimt, is a Norwegian professional football club from the town of Bodø in Bodø Municipality, Nordland county, Norway. The club currently plays in Eliteserien, the Norwegian top division. The club was founded in 1916.
Eliteserien is a Norwegian professional league for association football clubs. At the top of the Norwegian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Norwegian First Division.

The 2019 season was Bodø/Glimt's second season back in the Eliteserien since their relegation at the end of the 2016 season. The 2020 season was Bodø/Glimt's third season back in the Eliteserien since their relegation at the end of the 2016 season. They finished as champions of the Eliteserien for the first time, and in turn qualified for the UEFA Champions League for the first time, whilst the Norwegian Cup was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Norway. In Europe, Bodø/Glimt reached the Third Qualifying Round of the Europa League where they were knocked out by Milan.
