The IIFA Sound Recording is a technical award chosen ahead of the International Indian Film Academy Awards ceremonies.

International Indian Film Academy Awards award

The International Indian Film Academy Awards are a set of awards presented annually by the International Indian Film Academy to honour both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in Bollywood, the Hindi language film industry. Instituted in 2000, the ceremony is held in different countries around the world every year with the most recent one being held at the Siam Niramit Theatre in Bangkok, Thailand on 22-24 June 2018.

10th IIFA Awards major film awards ceremony honoring the best Bollywood films of 2008

The 10th International Indian Film Academy Awards were a major film awards ceremony honoring the best Bollywood films of 2008. The ceremony was held in The Venetian Macao, Macau from 11 June to 13 June 2009. The choice of Macau as host city was considered a well-planned decision, aimed at reducing tensions between India and China, as well as to end the "deadlock" between the two countries over the issue of exchange of cinema. The ceremony was hosted by Boman Irani, Ritesh Deshmukh and Lara Dutta.

13th IIFA Awards

The 2012 IIFA Awards, officially the 13th International Indian Film Academy Awards ceremony, presented by the International Indian Film Academy honouring the films of 2011 took place between 7–9 June 2012. The official ceremony took place on 9 June 2012, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore for the second time after 2004. The ceremony was televised in India and internationally on Star Plus. 9th IIFA Awards

The 2008 IIFA Awards, officially known as the 9th International Indian Film Academy Awards ceremony, presented by the International Indian Film Academy honoured the best films of 2007 and took place between 6 – 8 June 2008. The official ceremony took place on 8 June 2008, at the Siam Paragon in Bangkok, Thailand. During the ceremony, IIFA Awards were awarded in 27 competitive categories. The ceremony was televised in India and internationally on Star Plus. Actors Boman Irani and Ritesh Deshmukh co-hosted the ceremony for the first time.

This was the 19th edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards. This edition was held in Thailand on 22-24 June 2018. The show was hosted by Karan Johar and Ritesh Deshmukh. The awards were given for the Bollywood films in 2017. The award for Best Actor was won by Irrfan Khan for Hindi Medium and award for Best Actress was won by Sridevi for Mom. The Best Film was announced Tumhari Sulu.
