International Indian Film Academy Awards Award

The International Indian Film Academy Awards are a set of awards presented annually. It was created by the Wizcraft International Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., which is an International Event Management Company. The awards are voted by fans online for the Indian film industry. Instituted in 2000, the ceremony is held in different countries around the world every year with the most recent one being held at Mumbai on 18 September 2019.

Farah Khan is the most awarded choreographer followed by duo Bosco–Caesar and Vaibhavi Merchant / Remo D'Souza.

IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year – Female Annual award of the International Indian Film Academy

The IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year – Female is given by the International Indian Film Academy as part of its annual award ceremony to recognise a female actor who has delivered an outstanding performance in her debut film. Originally known as the "IIFA Award for Fresh Face of the Year (Female)", it was officially given its new title in 2005. During its inaugural year in 2001, four separate actresses were presented with an award.

7th IIFA Awards

The 2006 IIFA Awards, officially known as the 7th International Indian Film Academy Awards ceremony, presented by the International Indian Film Academy honoured the best films of 2005 and took place between 15–17 June 2006. Dubai, with its old world charm and new age dynamism played host to the 3 day IIFA Weekend and its many events.

Juhi Chaturvedi is an Indian screenwriter who works in Hindi films. An advertising professional based in Mumbai, Chaturvedi has written scripts for Bollywood films Vicky Donor (2012) Piku (2015), October (2018) and Gulabo Sitabo (2020).

The first-ever International Indian Film Academy Awards is officially known as 1st IIFA Awards. The award ceremony was held in 2000 at the Millennium Dome in London. It took place on 24 June 2000. During the ceremony, IIFA Awards were awarded in 26 competitive categories.

The 2016 IIFA Awards, officially known as the 17th International Indian Film Academy Awards ceremony, presented by the International Indian Film Academy honouring the best Hindi films of 2015, took place on 25 June 2016. The official ceremony took place on 25 June 2016 in IFEMA, Madrid, Spain. The nominations were announced on 26 May 2016.

The 2nd IIFA Utsavam ceremony honouring the winners and nominees of the best of South Indian cinema in 2016 was an event held on 28 and 29 March 2017 at the Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The event, which is the second edition of the IIFA Utsavam, recognises the best work from the four industries during the year 2016 and awarded prizes to performers and technicians from the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages.

The 21st International Indian Film Academy Awards were supposed to take place in Indore from March 27 to 29, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they were postponed. However, on 24 November 2021, the IIFA organising team declared the name of winners of all categories through their Instagram handle.
