The film received negative reviews from critics but was a box office blockbuster, grossing ₹550 million against its ₹100 million budget.

Kiran under Annapurna Studios, Anandi Art Creations and Viacom18 Studios. It stars Nagarjuna and Rakul Preet Singh, with music composed by Chaitan Bharadwaj. The film is an official remake of the French film I Do (2006) and is a spiritual successor to Nagarjuna's Manmadhudu (2002). The film opened up to negative reviews and became a box-office bomb.

It premiered on 17 June 2023 on JioCinema with Salman Khan as the host for the first time of OTT version. The Grand Finale of the show took place on 14 August 2023 where Elvish Yadav emerged as the winner and Abhishek Malhan emerged as the runner-up. This was one of the most successful seasons of Bigg Boss.
