Big Beat Records, Inc. is an American electronic and dance music record label, owned by Warner Music Group and operates through Atlantic Records. It was founded as an independent record label in 1986 by Craig Kallman with an emphasis on house music, and later hip hop. Top Dance/Electronic Albums, Dance/Electronic Albums is a music chart published weekly by Billboard magazine which ranks the top-selling electronic music albums in the United States based on sales compiled by Nielsen SoundScan. Icona Pop are a Swedish synth-pop duo that formed in 2009, with electro house and indie pop music influences. Its two members, Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo, grew up in Stockholm and create what the Swedish press has described as music which "you can both laugh and cry to at the same time". On 16 September 2013, the album was made available to stream in full on the Pitchfork website. The album debuted at no. 36 on the Billboard 200 and fell to no. 136 in its second week.

Philadelphia hiphop band Chiddy Bang sampled The Knocks' "Blackout" for their single "Here We Go" from their EP The Preview. Chiddy Bang subsequently sampled The Knocks' "When You've Got Music" and "Dancing with the DJ" for their mixtape Peanut Butter and Swelly. After the success of "Dancing With The DJ", their debut extended play, entitled Magic was released in 2011.
