Igtisadchi Baku is an Azerbaijani women's volleyball club. [2] [3]
Igtisadchi Baku was founded in the Summer of 2008 and immediately got the right to participate in the Azerbaijan Super League, qualifying after just one season to the CEV Women's Challenge Cup.[ citation needed ] The following season saw Igtisadchi Baku eliminated in the second round table of European competition, because of the deployment of an ineligible player in the qualification to the Challenge Cup.[ citation needed ]
In the season 2009-2010, the club achieved third place in the championship, beating the Azerrail Baku and qualifying for the third consecutive season in the Challenge Cup.[ citation needed ]
In the season 2012-2013, the club participated in the Women's CEV Volleyball Cup, being eliminated in the 8th final round of the competition. [4] In the 2012/13 Azerbaijani Super League, the club claimed the silver medal, tied with Azerrail Baku. [5] [6]
In 2014, it was announced that team will not participate at 2014-2015 due to financial difficulties. [7]

Azerrail Baku is an Azerbaijani women's volleyball club based in Baku. Azerrail is a four-time champion of Azerbaijan Superleague and the winner of CEV Cup in 2002 and Challenge Cup in 2011.
Manon Nummerdor-Flier is a retired volleyball player from the Netherlands who played as an opposite.
Valeriya Korotenko is a retired Azerbaijani volleyball player who played as a Libero. She was a member of Azerbaijan women's national volleyball team and was selected as the Best Libero of European Volleyball Championship in 2005 and 2017.
Oksana Kurt, also known as Oksana Parkhomenko, ; is a retired Azerbaijani indoor volleyball player, recognized as one of the most successful volleyball players in her country. Kurt is the most capped player in the history of Azerbaijan women's national team and was the team captain from 2006 until 2015. She retired from volleyball in 2015 and works as a volleyball manager.

Natalya Aleksandrovna Mammadova is a retired Ukrainian and Azerbaijani volleyball player. Natalya played as an outside hitter and is widely recognized as one of the best players of her generation, as well as the most successful Azerbaijani volleyball player. Natalya represented Azerbaijan national team from 2004 until 2018 and is one of the most capped players in the history of the country. She announced her retirement from volleyball in May 2021.

The 2015-16 season of the Azerbaijan Women's Volleyball Super League was the annual season of the country's highest volleyball level. The League of Azerbaijan began on November 6 and included the Georgian Tbilisi club and an Azerbaijani Junior team. Azerrail Baku won the championship final series 3-0 matches over Telekom Baku and Lokomotiv Baku won the bronze medal. The American Madison Kingdon from Azerrail Baku became league's Most Valuable Player.
Kseniya Poznyak is a Belarusian-born Azerbaijani former professional volleyball player. She represented Azerbaijan women's national team on international level and was part of the squad at the 2006 and 2018 FIVB World Championships, as well as 6 editions of the European Championship.
