The County Ground,Beckenham is a cricket ground in Beckenham in the London Borough of Bromley. The ground is owned by Leander Sports and Leisure and is used as an outground by Kent County Cricket Club for First XI fixtures,as well as for other matches. As of 2019 the Kent Women cricket team played the majority of their matches at the ground.
Matthew Thomas Coles is an English former professional cricketer. He played as a bowling all-rounder who bowled right-arm fast-medium pace and batted left-handed. He most recently was contracted to Essex County Cricket Club and has represented the England Lions cricket team. Coles played for Kent for two spells either side of spending 18 months at Hampshire in 2014. In 2016 he joined Bangladesh Premier League side Dhaka Dynamites for part of their season.
The 2010 Friends Provident t20 tournament was the inaugural Friends Provident t20 Twenty20 cricket competition for the England and Wales first-class counties. The competition ran from 1 June 2010 until the finals day at The Rose Bowl on 14 August 2010. The eighteen counties were split into two regions,North and South,with the top four teams from each group progressing to the quarter-final knockout stage. The competition was won by Hampshire Royals,who beat Essex Eagles in the semi-finals,and Somerset in the final,by virtue of losing fewer wickets in a tied match.
Mote Park,also known as The Mote,is a cricket ground in Maidstone in the English county of Kent. It is inside the grounds of the Mote Park and is owned by The Mote Cricket Club. The ground is also used by the Mote Squash Club and Maidstone rugby club. It was used by Kent County Cricket Club as one of their out-grounds for county cricket matches. The club played over 200 first-class cricket matches on the ground between 1859 and 2005.
Daniel James Bell-Drummond is an English professional cricketer,who plays for Kent County Cricket Club. He has represented England at youth level and has played for the England Lions cricket team at senior level.
Harry William Podmore is an English professional cricketer who plays for Glamorgan County Cricket Club. A right-arm medium-fast bowler who bats right-handed,he played youth cricket for Middlesex and made his debut for the county in 2014 before spending time on loan with Glamorgan,Durham and Derbyshire over the next two seasons. He made his first-class cricket debut on 1 May 2016 in the 2016 County Championship and played for Kent between 2018 and 2022;he was awarded his county cap in 2019 and left the county at the end of the 2022 season,moving to Glamorgan.
Charles Frederick Hartley,known as Charlie Hartley,is an English former professional cricketer who played for Kent County Cricket Club. He is a right-arm swing bowler who bats right-handed. He made his First-class cricket debut for Kent against Leicestershire in July 2014.

Sean Robert Dickson is an English-South African cricketer who plays as a right-handed top-order batter. Dickson was born in Johannesburg and made his first-class debut in South Africa before signing for Kent in July 2015,qualifying as a non-overseas player due to his British mother and UK passport. Dickson scored 318 for Kent in July 2017,the county's second highest individual score and making him one of only two men to have made a triple-century for Kent.

This was the first time that any English county had competed in an overseas domestic competition. The invitation to take part in the tournament was largely due to the influence of former West Indian captain Jimmy Adams who had been Kent's Head Coach until September 2016.

The county finished second in Division Two of the Championship and were promoted to Division One for the 2019 season. They reached the final of the One-Day Cup. losing to Hampshire at Lord's,and the quarter-final stage of the t20 Blast. In addition,before the start of the English cricket season,Kent competed in the 2017–18 Regional Super50,the List A competition of the West Indies domestic season,reaching the semi-final stage. This was the second time that Kent have competed in the competition,having played in the 2016–17 competition.
The 2019 Vitality Blast is the 2019 season of the t20 Blast,a professional Twenty20 cricket league that was played in England and Wales. It was the second season in which the domestic T20 competition,run by the ECB,has been branded as the Vitality Blast due to a new sponsorship deal. The league consisted of the 18 first-class county teams divided into two divisions of nine teams each with fixtures played,slightly later than usual,between July and September. Finals Day took place at Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham on 21 September 2019. Worcestershire Rapids were the defending champions.

He signed his first professional contract with Kent County Cricket Club in October 2018,having joined the county club at age 10,played for them at age-group levels and been a member of the club's academy programme,winning the John Aitken Gray award as the best academy scholar in 2018.
The 2020 Bob Willis Trophy was a first-class cricket tournament held in the 2020 English cricket season,and the inaugural edition of the Bob Willis Trophy. It was separate from the County Championship,which was not held in 2020 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom. The eighteen county cricket teams were split into three regional groups of six,with the two group winners with the most points advancing to a final held at Lord's. The maximum number of overs bowled in a day was reduced from 96 to 90,and the team's first innings could be no longer than 120 overs.
The 2021 County Championship was the 121st cricket County Championship season in England and Wales. For the first phase of the tournament,the teams were split into three groups of six,with each side playing ten matches. The top two teams from each group progressed into Division One for the second phase of the competition,with the other teams progressing to Divisions Two and Three. The team that finished top of Division One became the county champions;and the top two teams from Division One contested a five-day match at Lord's for the Bob Willis Trophy. On 17 December 2020,the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed all the fixtures for the tournament. After completion of the group stage on 14 July 2021,the ECB confirmed the fixtures for the division stage on 22 July 2021.

The season was the fifth in charge for head coach,and former player,Matthew Walker. Sam Billings retained the club captaincy that he was first awarded in 2018. Daniel Bell-Drummond was named as vice-captain,replacing Joe Denly. Jack Leaning was named as captain for the One-Day Cup.
