"In My Arms" is a song by the Scottish electronic dance musician Mylo. The song appears on the album Destroy Rock & Roll and was released as a single in the UK on 16 May 2005. It contains samples from "Bette Davis Eyes" by Kim Carnes, and "Waiting for a Star to Fall" by Boy Meets Girl. [2]
The song's music video was filmed in Los Angeles. The video opens with a woman departing a bus and waiting for someone to arrive. In a separate scene, a man is shown getting dressed and leaving his apartment while an unidentified person sleeps in the bed beside him. The man drives to where the woman is waiting, who approaches him pointing at her eye, her chest, then at him, making an "I love you" gesture. The two kiss, and then depart, driving around the city before changing clothes in a parking lot. They then drive to a liquor store on Echo Park Avenue, where they purchase some items, then drive to a party.
At the party, the man comes downstairs and the woman gives him another "I love you" sign. The two dance for a while before walking back to an apartment. They head inside, kissing the whole time, and the two undress. The scene then shows the man getting out of bed, mirroring the scene from the start of the video. The unidentified person rolls over, and it's revealed to be the woman from the bus. The man returns the "I love you" gesture, then departs in the exact same way as before, showing that his day is just a loop.

"Sin" is the third single by American artist Nine Inch Nails from the album Pretty Hate Machine. Released in October 1990, the song peaked at number 35 in the UK Singles Chart.
"1979" is a song by American alternative rock band the Smashing Pumpkins. It was released in 1996 as the second single from their third studio album, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. "1979" was written by frontman Billy Corgan, and features loops and samples uncharacteristic of previous Smashing Pumpkins songs. The song gives something of a foreshadow of the synth-pop sound the band would embrace more openly on Adore and its tracks "Ava Adore" and "Perfect". The song was written as a nostalgic coming-of-age story by Corgan. In the year 1979, Corgan was twelve, and this is what he considered his transition into adolescence.
Mint Royale is the alias of electronic music producer Neil Claxton and, until 2004, a duo consisting of himself and Chris Baker, originating from Manchester, England. It was founded by Claxton and Baker in 1997. Baker left the band in 2004, but Claxton continued to produce music under the pseudonym "Mint Royale" until 2016. In 2020, Claxton returned to releasing music under the Mint Royale name.

"Wisemen" is a song written by British singer James Blunt, Jimmy Hogarth and Sacha Skarbek for Blunt's debut album Back to Bedlam. The song was produced by Tom Rothrock and Jimmy Hogarth. The song was released as the third single in March 2005 and reached the top 50 in the United Kingdom, peaking at number 44. Following the success of "You're Beautiful" and "Goodbye My Lover", "Wisemen" was re-released in March 2006, reaching number 21 in New Zealand and number 23 in the UK. The song was met with positive reviews.
"Waiting for a Star to Fall" is a song by American pop music duo Boy Meets Girl in 1988, written by the duo's members, Shannon Rubicam and George Merrill. They wrote the song after witnessing a falling star at a Whitney Houston concert and originally offered the song to Houston, but Arista Records CEO Clive Davis rejected it. American singer Belinda Carlisle then recorded a demo of the song but denied its inclusion on her 1987 album Heaven on Earth, so Rubicam and Merrill decided to record and release the song themselves.
"Personal Jesus" is a song by English electronic music band Depeche Mode. It was released as the lead single from their seventh studio album, Violator (1990), in 1989. The song was written by Alvin Moody, and produced by Moody, Vincent Bell and Dancin' Danny D for Minogue's debut album Love and Kisses (1991). It was released as Minogue's debut single in February 1990 in Australia and on 18 March 1991 in the United Kingdom. It entered the top 10 in the UK and Australia.

"This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race" is a song by American rock band Fall Out Boy and the second single from their commercially successful third studio album Infinity on High (2007). The song officially debuted on November 21 at the American Music Awards and impacted US radio on December 5. The music was composed by vocalist and guitarist Patrick Stump and the lyrics were penned by bassist Pete Wentz, following the band's songwriting approach which first began with some songs on their 2003 album Take This to Your Grave. Production was handled by Neal Avron, who also produced the band's previous From Under the Cork Tree album. Commenting on the band's decision to pick the track as the first single, Wentz said "There may be other songs on the record that would be bigger radio hits, but this one had the right message."

"My Arms Keep Missing You" is a song by Rick Astley released in 1987 as the second half of a double A-side single. The first A-side is the pop standard "When I Fall in Love". "My Arms Keep Missing You" was released as an independent single in Germany and reached number 6. The song's first appearance on an album was the 2002 compilation Greatest Hits, and it later appeared on the 2010 expanded version of Hold Me in Your Arms as a bonus track. The track also appeared on the remastered edition of Whenever You Need Somebody, which was released on 20 May 2022. In addition, a digital EP was released on 13 April 2022, including the single and its remixes. This track has been featured in the limited edition 12" double A-side Red Vinyl album of Love This Christmas of 4000 copies. A-side includes When I Fall in Love and Love This Christmas, B-side includes My Arms Keep Missing You.
"The Other Side" is a song by David Gray. It was released on 9 December 2002 as the first single from his sixth studio album A New Day at Midnight. The song deals with the theme of death, in the context of a heartbreaking failed relationship and the author's reflections on his own and his ex-partner's emotional and spiritual failings. The B-side "Lorelei" also appeared on the Japanese pressing of the album as a bonus track. A rare official remix by Novation was released as a promo-only vinyl, but has never been released on any other format. The single peaked on the UK Singles Chart at #35.
