The WBSC World Rankings is a ranking system for national teams in baseball, softball, and baseball5. The teams of the member nations of the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), baseball's world governing body, are ranked based on their tournament results with the most successful teams being ranked highest. A point system is used, with points being awarded based on the results of WBSC-recognized international tournaments. Under the existing system, rankings are based on a team's performance over the last four years, with major international tournaments awarded a higher weighting compared to minor international and continental tournaments.

Philippines men's national softball team is the national team for the Philippines. The 1988 World Championships were held in Saskatoon, Canada. The team played 13 games in the round robin round. They finished eighth overall. The team competed at the 1992 ISF Men's World Championship in Manila, Philippines where they finished with 5 wins and 3 losses. The team competed at the 2000 ISF Men's World Championship in East London, South Africa where they finished tenth. The team competed at the 2004 ISF Men's World Championship in Christchurch, New Zealand where they finished tenth. The team competed at the 2009 ISF Men's World Championship in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan where they finished tenth. They would participate in most of the succeeding editions. However from 2009 to 2022, they maintained a losing streak in the competition until their 8–0 win over Denmark in 2022.

Aaron Chia Teng Fong is a Malaysian badminton player. A world champion and a double bronze medalist at the Olympic Games, he and his partner Soh Wooi Yik became the first ever world badminton champions from Malaysia after winning the men's doubles title at the 2022 World Championships. Together, they also won a gold medal at the 2019 SEA Games, a silver medal at the 2022 Asian Championships, as well as bronze medals at the 2020 Summer Olympics, 2022 Commonwealth Games, 2023 World Championships, 2022 Asian Games, 2024 Asian Championships, and 2024 Summer Olympics. They are also the first Malaysian men’s doubles pair to win consecutive medals at the Olympic Games.

Lakshya Sen is an Indian badminton player. He's a former World Junior No. 1. Sen is a bronze medalist at the World Championships, a gold medalist at the Thomas Cup, a silver medalist at the Asian Games and a gold and silver medalist at the Commonwealth Games. He has also won bronze medals at the Asia Team and Asia Mixed Team Championships. Sen won the Canada Open and was the runner-up at the All England Open. At the junior level, he has won a gold and silver medal at the Youth Olympic Games, a bronze medal at World Junior Championships and a gold and bronze medal at Asia Junior Championships.

The Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship, previously the AVC Cup Men's Club Tournament, is an annual continental club volleyball competition organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), the sport's continental governing body. The competition was first contested in 1999 in China. It was not held in 2003 and 2020 due to 2002–2004 SARS outbreak and COVID-19 pandemic respectively.
