Innlandet Hospital Trust

Innlandet Hospital is a health trust which covers the counties of Hedmark and Oppland of Norway. The health trust consists of 10 divisions with services over 41 sites in Hedmark and Oppland. The hospital's institution lies in Brumunddal, in Ringsaker municipality, north of Hamar. It is owned by Southern and Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority.

Hospital structure

Innlandet Hospital consists of six somatic hospitals, which first and foremost deal with physical ailments, and two psychiatric hospitals which deal with various mental disorders.

Across these hospitals, the decentralised services of both mental and somatic illnesses can be found.

Staff Health

The staff of the vice-administrative director is known as Staff Health. In this staff, are IT services, electronic patient journals, research departments and knowledge centres. In Avdeling for kunnskapsstøtte there are also library services, and courses for practical knowledge, knowledge courses, structured learning plans, and clinical pathways.

Lillehammer is a town and municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Gudbrandsdal. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Lillehammer. Elverum is a city and municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Østerdalen. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Elverum. The municipality of Elverum was established on 1 January 1838 . Elverum lies at an important crossroads, with Hamar to the west, Kongsvinger to the south, and Trysil on the Swedish border to the northeast. It is bordered on the north by Åmot municipality, in the northeast by Trysil municipality, in the southeast by Våler, and in the west by Løten.

Røros Line

The Røros Line is a 383-kilometer (238 mi) railway line which runs through the districts of Hedmarken, Østerdalen and Gauldalen in Innlandet and Trøndelag, Norway. The line branches off from the Dovre Line at Hamar Station and runs a more easterly route to Støren Station, where the two lines meet again. The Røros Line also intersects with the Solør Line at Elverum Station. The single track, standard gauge line lacks electrification and only has centralized traffic control south of Røros Station. The Norwegian State Railways (Vy) operate regional passenger trains. In addition the line is used by freight trains hauling lumber and wood chippings.

Lillehammer University College

Lillehammer University College was a Norwegian state university college located at Storhove in Lillehammer. It was merged into the Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences in 2017. It was established in 1971 as Oppland College and took its current form in 1995. It is located in the television and radio center built for the 1994 Winter Olympic Games. The college offered undergraduate programs in Travel and Tourism, Business Administration, Organisation and Management, Film and Television, Health and Social Work, Humanities and Social Sciences, and graduate programs in Education, Social Policy, Health and Social Work for Children and Youth, Social Welfare, and Film and TV Science.

Solør Line

The Solør Line is a 93.6-kilometer (58.2 mi) railway line that runs through district of Solør in Innlandet county, Norway. The line connects the Kongsvinger Line at Kongsvinger Station with the Røros Line at Elverum Station, running through the municipalities of Kongsvinger, Grue, Åsnes, Våler and Elverum. The standard gauge line lacks electrification and centralized traffic control; it is solely used by freight trains, mostly hauling lumber and wood chippings.

Eidsiva Energi is a Norwegian energy company based in Hamar with large sections of Oppland and Hedmark as core market, and is the largest producer, distributor and trader of electricity in both counties. Venues of the 1994 Winter Olympics

The 1994 Winter Olympics were held in and around Lillehammer, Norway, from 12 to 27 February 1994. Ten competition and fourteen non-competition venues were used, most of which were subsequently used for the 1994 Winter Paralympics. The Games were spread out over ten venues in five municipalities in two counties, Oppland and Hedmark. Lillehammer, with approximately 25,000 inhabitants, and Hamar and Gjøvik, both with approximately 27,000 inhabitants, are all situated on the lake Mjøsa. Gjøvik and Hamar are 45 and 54 kilometers south of Lillehammer, respectively. Hunderfossen is 15 kilometers (9.3 mi) north of Lillehammer, but located within the municipality. Øyer and Ringebu, each with just under 5,000 inhabitants, are 18 and 50 kilometers north of Lillehammer, respectively, in the valley Gudbrandsdalen. Lillehammer had four competition venues, Hamar had two competition venues, while Hunderfossen, Gjøvik, Øyer and Ringebu had one competition venue each.

Østerdalens Arbeiderblad was a Norwegian newspaper, published in Elverum in Hedmark county. It was named Østerdalens Social-Demokrat from 1915 to 1919 and Hedmark Fylkes Arbeiderblad from 1923 to 1925.

Arnold Hazeland

Arnold Mathew Johan Philip Hazeland was a Norwegian attorney, Supreme Court Justice as an Anarchist in the late 1920s, and eventually later on a politician for the Labour Party. Hazeland worked on several translations of the works of Russian scientist and anarchist, Peter A. Kropotkin. What became of his manuscripts is not known.

The Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences, Norwegian: Høgskolen i Innlandet, is a state university college in Norway, established in 2017 from the merger of Hedmark University College and Lillehammer University College. It has six campuses.

Innlandet County of Norway

Innlandet is a county in Norway. It was created on 1 January 2020 with the merger of the old counties of Oppland and Hedmark. The new county has an area of 52,113 square kilometres (20,121 sq mi), making it the second largest county in Norway after Troms og Finnmark county.
