Iraklis Deskoulidis (born 1 October 1961) is a Greek wrestler. He competed at the 1984 Summer Olympics, the 1988 Summer Olympics and the 1992 Summer Olympics. [1]
At the 1906 Summer Olympics in Athens, an unofficial football event was held. Only four teams competed, with three of them being clubs from Greece and the Ottoman Empire. Medal tables list the gold medalist as Denmark, with the silver medals given to a mixed team from Smyrna, and the bronze medalists from Thessaloniki listed as Greece. Both were cities in the Ottoman Empire at the time.

It currently has 27,560 seats, owing to conversion of terraces to seats in 2000 and a comprehensive renovation before reopening to host football matches for the 2004 Summer Olympics, which was centered in Athens. It has been the home stadium of Iraklis Thessaloniki F.C. since 1960.
Iraklis F.C., also known as Iraklis VENETIS BAKERIES F.C. for sponsorship reasons, is a Greek professional football club based in the city of Thessaloniki, Macedonia, Greece. Created in 1908, it serves as the professional men's football department of the multi–sport club of G.S. Iraklis Thessalonikis. The club's colours are blue and white, inspired by the flag of Greece. They play their home matches at Kaftanzoglio Stadium. As of 2021, the club competes in the second–tier level Super League Greece 2.

He claimed a silver medal in the 54-kg division at the 2001 European Championships in Istanbul, Turkey, and later represented his nation Georgia at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Chochua also trained for Tshevardani Wrestling Club in Tbilisi, under his personal coach Villiam Kharazov.

In 2016, at a fire near Pireaus, he, along with other firefighters, saved nine people and a baby.
