Mor IreniousPaulose is a Syriac Orthodox bishop, currently Metropolitan of Kozhikode Diocese and Patriarchal Vicar of Muscat. [1] [2] [3] [4] His parish was St. Antony's Cathedral Church in Jeppu, Mangalore under Evangelical Association of the East. [5] [6]

Education

Paulose Mor Irenious got his bachelor's degree from the Karnataka University and master's degree in Sociology from Mysore University. [7] Later he studied Diploma in Theology from Manjinikkara Dayro & M.S.O.T. Seminary, Mulanthuruthy. [8] After his Diploma he further studied at Kolkata and has B.D. followed by M.Th. Degree from Serampore University.

The church is under E.A.E Arch Diocese, the first missionary association of Syriac Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch and All the East, and is currently under the direct control of Ignatius Aphrem II, Patriarch of the Syriac Orthodox Church. St. George's Monastery is a Jacobite Syrian Christian Church situated at a hilltop near Puthencruz, Ernakulam District, Kerala. The monastery was established by Mor Yulius Elias Qoro. The Malankara Syrian Orthodox Seminary began functioning in this monastery and later moved to Udayagiri. The monastery is the final resting place of Catholicos Baselios Paulose II. In 2019, a retreat house named Khanema Hanna Home was consecrated by Ignatius Aphrem II Patriarch near to the Monastery.

Joseph C. Joseph Corepiscopa is a priest of Jacobite Syrian Christian Church. He was born on January 13, 1952, as the son of the late Paulose and Mariamma Joseph, in Vazhamuttom of Pathanamthitta District of South India. He was baptized at St. Ignatius Monastery, Manjinikkara in India. Fr. Joseph migrated to the United States in 1976. He served as the Vicar of St. Ignatius Church, Dallas; St. Mary’s Church, Houston; St. Mary's Church, Winder, Georgia; and St. Mary's Church, Dallas. He was an Archdiocese Council Member, Vice President of the Association for Protection of Antiochean True Faith, Vice President of the Sunday School Association, Vice President of the St. Mary's Women's League, and currently is appointed as the Archdiocesan Clergy Secretary.
