The 1920 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the VII Olympiad and commonly known as Antwerp 1920, were an international multi-sport event held in 1920 in Antwerp, Belgium.
The Olympisch Stadion or Kielstadion was built as the main stadium for the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp. For those games, it hosted the athletics, equestrian, field hockey, football, gymnastics, modern pentathlon, rugby union, tug of war, weightlifting and korfball (demonstration) events. Following the Olympics it was converted to a football stadium. Its current tenant is K Beerschot VA, a Belgian football club. There are no remnants of the Olympic athletics track.
Water polo has been part of the Summer Olympics program since the second games, in 1900. A women's water polo tournament was introduced for the 2000 Summer Olympics. Hungary has been the most successful country in men's tournament, while the United States is the only team to win multiple times at the women's tournament since its introduction. Italy was the first to win both the men's and women's water polo tournaments.
Finland first participated at the Olympic Games in 1908 and has sent athletes to compete in every Summer Olympic Games and every Winter Olympic Games since then. Finland was also the host nation for the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki. Finnish athletes have won a total of 305 medals at the Summer Games, mostly in athletics and wrestling. Finland has also won 175 medals at the Winter Games, mostly in nordic skiing events.
Slovenia first participated as an independent nation at the Olympic Games at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France, and the country has sent athletes to compete at every Games since then. The Slovenian Olympic Committee was established in 1991 and was recognised by the International Olympic Committee on 5 February 1992.

The highest number of Djiboutian athletes participating in a summer Games is eight in the 1992 games in Barcelona, Spain. Only one Djiboutian athlete has ever won a medal at the Olympics, marathon runner Hussein Ahmed Salah, who won a bronze medal in the 1988 marathon.
Conrado Adalberto Cabrera Marrero is a retired male track cyclist from Cuba. Cabrera represented his native country at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. He also claimed two bronze medals at the Pan American Games.
José Marrero Hernández is a Cuban sprint canoer who competed in the early 1980s. At the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, he finished sixth in the K-2 1000 m event while being eliminated in the semifinals of the K-2 500 m event.
Raymond Gause is a Puerto Rican former basketball player. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee and played his college basketball with the UAB Blazers under Gene Bartow. At Alabama-Birmingham he played with Jerome Mincy and Orlando "Pipo" Marrero. In 1984 he moved to Puerto Rico and established residency on the island. In 1987 he played his first season in the Superior League, BSN, with the Bayamon Cowboys. The following year, 1988, under Robert Corn, he helped Bayamon win their last championship of the 80's. That same year he was recruited by the Puerto Rican National Basketball Team as a three-point shooter and specialist, and became the starting shooting guard for the next four years. He immediately helped qualify Puerto Rico to the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, Korea, at the 1988 Tournament of the Americas Olympic Qualifier in Montevideo, Uruguay.
Deven Sommer Marrero is an American former professional baseball infielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Boston Red Sox, Arizona Diamondbacks, Miami Marlins and New York Mets.
Mariano Ortiz Marrero was a Puerto Rican basketball player who competed in the 1968 Summer Olympics, in the 1972 Summer Olympics, and in the 1976 Summer Olympics. Ortiz was born in Toa Baja on 25 July 1944. He died on 16 April 2022, at the age of 77.

The Middleweight class in the boxing competition was the third-highest weight class. Middleweights were limited to those boxers weighing a maximum of 75 kilograms (165.3 lbs). 22 boxers qualified for this category. Like all Olympic boxing events, the competition was a straight single-elimination tournament. Both semifinal losers were awarded bronze medals, so no boxers competed again after their first loss. Bouts consisted of six rounds each. Five judges scored each bout.
