Jagannath International Management School (JIMS) is a private college affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) and located in Vasant Kunj, Delhi. [2] It was established in 2003 by Jagannath Gupta Memorial Education Society.

The University Grants Commission of India is a statutory body set up by the Government of India in accordance to the UGC Act 1956 under the Ministry of Education, and is charged with coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of higher education. It provides recognition to universities in India, and disbursements of funds to such recognized universities and colleges. The headquarters are in New Delhi, and it has six regional centres in Pune, Bhopal, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Guwahati and Bangalore. A proposal to replace it with another new regulatory body called HECI is under consideration by the Government of India. The UGC provides doctoral scholarships to all those who clear JRF in the National Eligibility Test. On an average, each year 725 crore (US$100 million) is spent on doctoral and post-doctoral fellowships by the commission.

West Bengal University of Health Sciences Public Medical University in West Bengal, India

The West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) was set up by an Act of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly in 2003 for better management of the health and medical education related courses which were until then taught separately by the University of Calcutta, and the Universities of Burdwan and North Bengal. On September 2017 UGC listed WBUHS under section 12-B of the UGC Act, 1956. All the courses have been brought under one umbrella to help upgrade the level of teaching in the state.

Khalisani Mahavidyalaya

Khalisani Mahavidyalaya is one of the oldest college in Chandannagar, in the Hooghly district, West Bengal, India. It offers undergraduate courses in arts, commerce and sciences. The institution was established on 1 September 1970 to cater to the educational and cultural needs for the people of a locality stretching to the rural neighborhood in the western fringe of the town of Chandannagar. The establishment was possible because of the initiative taken by some pious and philanthropic persons. In the initial years of the journey the college achieved the recognition of the UGC under 2F and 12B, and got the affiliation under the University of Burdwan. The early years witnessed the excellence of the College in National Service Scheme and in the establishment of Hooghly District Blood Donors Society. From the last two decades of the last century Khalisani Mahavidyalaya have expanded their horizon and introduced various subjects in both Honors and General courses in B.A., B.Com. and B.Sc. streams. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology Public University in West Bengal

Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (MAKAUT,WB), formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT), is a public state university located beside National Highway at Haringhata, Nadia, West Bengal, India.
