Jaghan (Persian : جغان‎, also Romanized as Jaghān; also known as Jaghīn and Jaqān)^[1] is a village in Kuh Shah Rural District, Ahmadi District, Hajjiabad County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 335, in 72 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Kuh Shah Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Ahmadi District of Hajjiabad County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 5,547, in 1,356 families. The rural district has 35 villages.

Ahmadi District is a district (bakhsh) in Hajjiabad County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 10,808, in 2,571 families. The District is entirely rural. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Ahmadi Rural District and Kuh Shah Rural District.
