Jacob Carl Fey [1] (born 1949) [2] is an American politician serving as a member of the Washington House of Representatives,representing the 27th district. [3] A member of the Democratic Party,Fey assumed office on January 14,2013. [4]
Fey was born and raised in Port Angeles,Washington. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Washington and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Puget Sound. [5]
Fey served as the director of the Washington State University Energy program from 2001 to 2019. He also served as a member of the Sound Transit and Pierce Transit boards. Fey was a member of the Tacoma City Council and served as deputy mayor of Tacoma,Washington. [6] [7] Fey is a progressive. [8]

State Route 509 (SR 509) is a 35.17-mile-long (56.60 km) state highway in the U.S. state of Washington,connecting Tacoma in Pierce County to Seattle in King County. The highway travels north from Interstate 705 (I-705) in Tacoma to SR 99 south of downtown Seattle. It serves cities along the Puget Sound and west of Seattle–Tacoma International Airport in south King County,including Federal Way,Des Moines,and Burien. SR 509 is part of the National Highway System and is a limited-access highway near the Port of Tacoma and from Burien to its northern terminus in Seattle.
Link light rail is a light rail rapid transit system serving the Seattle metropolitan area in the U.S. state of Washington. It is managed by Sound Transit in partnership with local transit providers,and consists of two non-connected lines:the 1 Line in King County,which travels for 25 miles (40 km) between Seattle and Seattle–Tacoma International Airport;and the T Line in Pierce County,which runs for under 2 miles (3.2 km) between Downtown Tacoma and Tacoma Dome Station. In 2021,the system had a ridership of 11,754,900,or about 71,600 per weekday as of the second quarter of 2022,primarily on the 1 Line,and runs trains at frequencies of 6 to 24 minutes.
The T Line,formerly known as Tacoma Link,is a light rail line in Tacoma,Washington,part of the Link light rail system operated by Sound Transit. It travels 1.6 miles (2.6 km) between Tacoma Dome Station and Downtown Tacoma,serving six stations. The line carried 972,400 total passengers in 2016,with a weekday average of over 3,200 boardings. Tacoma Link runs for eight to 14 hours per day,using streetcars at frequencies of 12 to 24 minutes. Fares are not charged and operating expenses are funded by a subsidy from a downtown business association.

Tacoma Dome Station is a train station and transit hub in Tacoma,Washington,United States. It is served by Amtrak trains,the S Line of Sounder commuter rail,the T Line of Link light rail,and buses on local and intercity routes. Located near the Tacoma Dome south of Downtown Tacoma,the station consists of two train platforms used by Sounder and Amtrak trains,a platform for the T Line,a bus terminal,and two parking garages. The Sounder station is integrated into Freighthouse Square,a former Milwaukee Road depot that was converted into a shopping mall,and is on the east side of the Amtrak station.
