The organization works to enhance the lives of children with special needs by partnering them with a high school athlete to form an encouraging friendship. Julia Pritt was a Seattle area philanthropist and cofounder of Attachmate. She founded Julia's Place and Washington Women in Need,and donated land for an Issaquah park. Pritt died in April,2010.
