James Norman Knight Shannon (born 12 February 1990) is an Irish former cricketer. Shannon is a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm off spin. On 26 May 2013,Shannon made his One Day International debut for Ireland against Pakistan. [1] In January 2020,Shannon announced his retirement from cricket. [2]
He scored the most runs in the 2017 Inter-Provincial Trophy,Ireland's domestic Twenty20 competition,with 251 runs in six matches. [3] He also scored the most runs in the 2017 Inter-Provincial Championship tournament,with 446 runs in four matches. [4]
In December 2018,he was one of nineteen players to be awarded a central contract by Cricket Ireland for the 2019 season. [5] [6]
In May 2018,he was named in a fourteen-man squad for Ireland's first ever Test match,to be played against Pakistan later the same month,but he was not selected to play. [7] [8] In June 2018,Shannon scored his first T20I half-century against India.

After beginning his career with Middlesex,he moved to Sussex in 2009,before returning to Ireland to play for Leinster Lightning in the fledgling first-class competition,the Irish Inter-Provincial Championship. A left-handed batsman and occasional right-arm bowler of medium pace,Joyce is widely regarded as one of the best cricketers produced by Ireland.

William Thomas Stuart Porterfield is an Irish former cricketer and a former captain of the Ireland cricket team. He played first-class cricket for Gloucestershire and Warwickshire. A left-handed batsman,he played for Ireland from 2006 to 2022,and has captained Ireland at all levels from Under-13 and is considered one of the greatest Irish cricketers of all time. During Afghanistan T20I series in March 2017,he passed 1,000 runs in T20Is and became the first player from Ireland to do so. In May 2018,he was named as the captain of Ireland's squad for their first ever Test match,against Pakistan. He announced his retirement from international cricket on 16 June 2022.
Gary Craig Wilson is a former Irish cricketer,who is a wicket-keeper and right-handed batsman. He played for Ireland in Tests,One Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals,with his first appearance for the national side coming in 2005. He was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Ireland's first ever Test match,against Pakistan,in May 2018. In June 2018,he was named captain of Ireland's T20I side,a role he held until November 2019. On 19 March 2021,Wilson announced his retirement from professional cricket.
Tamim Iqbal Khan,more popularly known as Tamim Iqbal,is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He is the nephew of former Bangladesh skipper Akram Khan,the current chief selector of the Bangladesh Cricket Board. Tamim is known for his aggressive batting style in the top order and is widely regarded as one of the greatest Bangladeshi batsmen of all time. Iqbal made history as he was the first Bangladeshi in the history of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup to score a century which he did with his 103 not out against Oman in the 2016 tournament. His 103 not out is the highest score made by a Bangladeshi at any T20 World Cup tournaments. Iqbal's 128 which he made against England in the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy is also the highest score made by a Bangladeshi at any tournaments.
