Jazanaq (Persian : جزنق‎, also Romanized as Jaznāq)^[1] is a village in Pol-e Doab Rural District, Zalian District, Shazand County, Markazi Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 405, in 122 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Pol-e Doab Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Zalian District, Shazand County, Markazi Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 27,846, in 7,365 families. The rural district has 35 villages.

Zalian District is a district (bakhsh) in Shazand County, Markazi Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 42,665, in 11,108 families. The District has two cities: Tureh & Mahajeran. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Nahr-e Mian Rural District, Pol-e Doab Rural District, and Zalian Rural District.
