Kolah Chub (Persian : كله چوب‎, also Romanized as Kolah Chūb; also known as Gol Jūb, Kolah Jūb, Kolāh Jūb, Kolājūb, and Koleh Jūb)^[1] is a village in Zalian Rural District, Zalian District, Shazand County, Markazi Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 92, in 24 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Zalian Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Zalian District, Shazand County, Markazi Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 2,911, in 771 families. The rural district has 22 villages.

Zalian District is a district (bakhsh) in Shazand County, Markazi Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 42,665, in 11,108 families. The District has two cities: Tureh & Mahajeran.
