The Connecticut Sun are an American professional basketball team based in Uncasville, Connecticut, that competes in the Eastern Conference of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The team is currently the only major league professional sports team based in Connecticut.

Tully Louise Bevilaqua is an Australian retired professional women's basketball player and current assistant coach for the Indiana Fever. She previously served as an assistant with the Phoenix Mercury in 2023. She formerly played for the San Antonio Stars in the WNBA and the Perth Lynx in Australia's WNBL. The 5'7" Bevilaqua's play style is energetic and disruptive, so much so that she is usually in the top 10 in steals. In the 2005 regular season, she had more steals per turnover than any other player.
Tanisha Lovely Wright is an American basketball coach and former player. Wright is currently the head coach of the Atlanta Dream of the WNBA. She began her coaching career as an assistant coach at Charlotte. As a player, Wright played 14 WNBA seasons for the Seattle Storm, New York Liberty and Minnesota Lynx and played college basketball for the Penn State Nittany Lions. During her junior season, Tanisha helped led her team to the Elite Eight, where they fell to the eventual national champion, Connecticut. She ranks fourth in school history in points scored with 1,995 points in 134 career games for Penn State. She was drafted in the 2005 WNBA draft by the Seattle Storm.

The Tulsa Shock were a professional basketball team based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, playing in the Western Conference in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The team was founded in Detroit, Michigan before the 1998 WNBA season began; the team moved to Tulsa before the 2010 season. The Finals was a series between the Seattle Storm and the Atlanta Dream which Seattle won 3–0.

She was drafted by the New York Liberty with the 26th overall pick of the 2019 WNBA draft. She played most recently for the Las Vegas Aces.
