The Jiabao V52 and Jiabao V55 is a five- to eight-seater Microvan made by FAW Jilin under the Jiabao sub-brand. [1] The pickup body counterparts are sold as the Jiabao T50 and Jiabao T57.
The Jiabao V52 and V55 are successors of the original cabover design Jiabao CA6361 sold from 1999 to 2009 and the rear half of the van body were carried-over to the V52 and V55 models while the pickup variant of the Jiabao CA6361 continued production and sold as the Jiabao T51. [2]

The FAW Jiefang bus CA6361 and the original Jiefang Jiabao CA6350 is made in China by FAW Jilin Automobile Co., Ltd.. The company is located in Jilin, in Jilin Province, China, and the CA6361 is one of its earliest mass-produced models. The CA6361 vans were sold from 1999 to 2009. [4]

Launched in 2011, [5] the Jiabao V52 was powered by either a 48 hp 1.0 liter Inline-four petrol engine or a 58 hp 1.0 liter Inline-four petrol engine. With the Jiabao V52 priced between 27,200 yuan and 29,200 yuan.
The Jiabao V52 also spawned a 304mm longer version called the Jiabao V55 with a single model priced at 32,900 yuan and powered by the same engine. [6] [7]
The Jiabao V52 was also produced by North Korean car manufacturer Pyeonghwa Motors as the Samcheonri 0708. Pyeonghwa introduced a naming system using the classic names such as Samchonri followed by four-digit numbers with the first two based on either engine capacity, or number of seats or gross vehicle weight. [8]
In North America, the Jiabao V52/ V55 and Jiabao T50/ T57 in both van and pickup variants are produced and sold as low speed electric vans and pickups by Vantage Vehicle International. Inc, a California-based manufacturer of mini-vehicles. The vehicles are LSVs or Low Speed Vehicle with the top speed being capped at 25 mph. The chassis and body for the truck and van is manufactured in China and shipped over to the States where the U.S.-made electric components are added. The rebuilt electric variants of the jiabao V52 and V55 are built to haul up to 1000 lbs. Truck body styles include a 2-passenger extended cab truck called the GreenTruck EVX 1000 or a 5-passenger crew cab truck nameded the GreenTruck EVR 1000. Vans available include a 5-passenger cargo van called the EVC 1000 GreenVan and a 7-passenger EVP 1000 GreenVan. [9]
The Daihatsu Compagno is an automobile which was produced by Daihatsu in Japan from 1963 to 1970. The name comes from the Italian word for "partner." The Compagno was designed to be offered in multiple bodystyles, and was introduced prior to the acquisition of Daihatsu by Toyota in 1967. The Compagno was available as a two-door sedan, four-door sedan, two-door pickup truck, a three-door delivery van and a convertible. The first Compagno prototype was shown at the 1961 Tokyo Motor Show and was of an appearance reminiscent of the Fiat 1800/2100. This was not a very well balanced design and Vignale's production version ended up looking quite different. The Compagno used a ladder-type chassis instead of the more modern monocoque style, with torsion bar wishbone suspension at the front and semi-elliptical leaf springs for the rear axle. The Compagno is also the first Daihatsu car to use the famous "D" logo.

The Daihatsu Hijet is a cab over microvan and kei truck produced and sold by the Japanese automaker Daihatsu since 1960. Despite the similarities between the Hijet name and Toyota's naming scheme for its trucks and vans, the name "Hijet" has been in use for Daihatsu's kei trucks and microvans since 1960, over two decades before Toyota took control. "Hijet", when transliterated into Japanese, is very similar to "Midget", one of Daihatsu's other mini-trucks. According to Daihatsu, the name "Hijet" was created to imply that the vehicle offers higher performance than the Midget. The Hijet competes in Japan with the Honda Acty, Mitsubishi Minicab, Nissan Clipper, Subaru Sambar and Suzuki Carry.
The Nissan Caravan is a light commercial van designed for use as a fleet vehicle or cargo van and manufactured by Nissan since 1973. Between 1976 and 1997, a rebadged version of the Caravan sold as the Nissan Homy, which was introduced as an independent model in 1965. The Chevrolet Van or Chevy Van is a range of vans that was manufactured by General Motors from the 1964 to 1996 model years. FAW-GM Light Duty Commercial Vehicle (FAW-GM) is a commercial vehicle manufacturing company headquartered in Changchun, China, and a 50:50 joint venture between FAW Group and General Motors. It was founded in 2009 and its activities include the Harbin Light Vehicle factory and FAW Hongta Yunnan Automobile Co Ltd. The plants were named,FAW Harbin Light Duty Vehicle Co., FAW-GM Hongta Yunnan Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Changchun Plant. The company builds Jie Fang pickups and light commercial vehicles, with the possibility of building models for GM to sell under their marques.

The CMC Veryca (中華菱利) or CMC Varica (中華百利/中華威利) is a cabover kei truck and microvan built and sold in Taiwan by the Taiwanese automaker China Motor Corporation (CMC) (中華汽車) since 1985, with its predecessor entering production in 1978.

The Barkas B 1000 is a forward control panel van made by the East German manufacturer VEB Barkas-Werke in Chemnitz. It was made in several different body styles: as a panel van, minibus seating eight, and pickup truck. Special-purpose vehicles based on the Barkas B 1000 were made as well. In June 1961, the production of the four-door panel van commenced, with the minibus following in spring 1964, and the pickup truck in spring 1965. With its payload of 1,000 kg, and its spacious interior, the Barkas B 1000 proved to be very durable and reliable. During its 27-year production period, it received some minor updates in 1963 and 1972, but all efforts to develop a successor failed, and there were no major design alterations for the remainder of its production. The successor Barkas B 1000-1, introduced in autumn 1989, carried over the technical design, but it was fitted with a different engine. In 1990, manufacture was sold to a Russian company, but production never was restarted.
The Changhe Freedom (福瑞达) is a five- to eight-seater Microvan and a two- to five- seater pickup truck made by Changhe. Originally launched as a cheap microvan for third to fourth tier cities, the microvan later spawned more premium passenger models and later developed into a compact MPV product series spawning a variety of vehicles including the Changhe Freedom M50, Changhe Freedom M60 and Changhe Freedom M70.
