Jilab (Persian : جيلاب‎, also Romanized as Jīlāb; also known as Ḩīlāb)^[1] is a village in Oshtorjan Rural District, in the Central District of Falavarjan County, Isfahan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 388, in 88 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

The Central District of Falvarjan County is a district (bakhsh) in Falavarjan County, Isfahan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 181,602, in 46,926 families. The District has six cities: Falavarjan, Kelishad va Sudarjan, Qahderijan, Abrisham, Zazeran, and Imanshahr. The District has four rural districts (dehestan): Abrisham Rural District, Golestan Rural District, Oshtorjan Rural District, and Zazeran Rural District.

Falavarjan County is a county in Isfahan Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Falavarjan. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 247,014. The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Pir Bakran District. The county has eight cities: Falavarjan, Pir Bakran, Baharan Shahr, Kelishad va Sudarjan, Qahderijan, Abrisham, Zazeran, and Imanshahr.
