Aidan Patrick O'Brien is an Irish horse racing trainer. Since 1996, he has been the private trainer at Ballydoyle Stables near Rosegreen in County Tipperary for John Magnier and his Coolmore Stud associates.

As a three-year-old he won the Epsom Derby, Irish Champion Stakes and Champion Stakes and was rated the best racehorse in the world in the 2008 World Thoroughbred Racehorse Rankings. As a breeding stallion, New Approach has sired the classic winners Masar, Dawn Approach and Talent.
St Jovite was an American bred, Irish-trained Thoroughbred racehorse bred and owned by Virginia Kraft Payson. He was sired by Pleasant Colony, winner of the 1981 Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes. His dam, Northern Sunset, was a granddaughter of the pre-eminent sire of the 20th century, Northern Dancer.
Teofilo is a retired Irish Thoroughbred racehorse and active stallion. In a racing career that lasted only four months in 2006 he became the European Champion Two-Year-Old of 2006, and retired undefeated after five starts. He won two Group One races: the National Stakes in Ireland and the Dewhurst Stakes in England. He was made favourite for both the 2000 Guineas and The Derby but suffered a knee injury in April 2007 which ended his racing career. He is currently standing at stud in County Kildare.

As a three-year-old, Dawn Approach won the classic 2000 Guineas on his first appearance, going on to win the St James Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot.

She was sold for over £2 million at the end of her racing career and became a broodmare in the ownership of Sheikh Mohammed.

Bred and trained by Jim Bolger she showed promise in two starts as a two-year-old in 2015, finishing fourth in a Group Three race on her debut and then winning a maiden race. In the spring of 2016 she finished second on her first appearance, won the Blue Wind Stakes and then defeated Found in the Irish 1000 Guineas. In summer she was beaten by Curvy in the Ribblesdale Stakes and disappointed in the Pretty Polly Stakes before returning from a lengthy absence to win the Yorkshire Oaks. On her final appearance of the year she finished fourth in a top-class international field for the Irish Champion Stakes.
Nahoodh is an Irish-bred British-trained Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare. She was sold as a foal and again as a yearling before entering training with Mick Channon. As a two-year-old she was beaten in her first two starts before recording her first major win in the Lowther Stakes. In the following year she finished fifth in the 1000 Guineas and was the beaten favourite in the Irish 1000 Guineas before being transferred to the stable of Mark Johnston. In July 2008 she recorded her biggest victory when she won the Group One Falmouth Stakes and went on to finish fourth in the Prix Rothschild and second in the Matron Stakes. She was retired from the end of the season and has had some success as a dam of winners.

He was one of the leading juvenile colts in Europe in 2020 when he won three of his six races including the Futurity Stakes in Ireland and the Vertem Futurity Trophy in Britain. In 2021 he won the Irish 2,000 Guineas and finished fourth in the Epsom Derby.

He won the Leopardstown 2,000 Guineas Trial Stakes on his first run of 2021 and then took the 2000 Guineas. He was narrowly beaten in the Irish 2000 Guineas but then took the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot.
