Jim Hill High School is a public high school located in Jackson, Mississippi, United States, hosting the state's first International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) program.[ citation needed ] It hosts Advanced Placement courses, a JROTC, and a SOAR program.
Jim Hill was founded in 1912 by James Hill, hence the name "Jim Hill" High School,[ citation needed ] for the establishment of a secondary institution for African Americans in the Jackson, Mississippi area. The former building was established on Lynch Street as an elementary school to educate the youth of West Jackson. The current building was constructed in the 1960s in the Washington Addition neighborhood. The school also was formerly housed in a building that operated as Blackburn Middle School where a new school was established in 2010. The International Baccalaureate Program hosted there was established in 1992. The new wing was annexed in 2001. Author, Richard Wright was a student.
Jim Hill was the only high school in the state of Mississippi with the International Baccalaureate Diploma program. This school offers these classes in Geometry MYP, Biology MYP and IB, Humanities MYP and IB, Language MYP and IB, Physical Education MYP, Algebra II MYP, Math Studies IB, Theory of Knowledge IB, Psychology IB, Technology IB, Art MYP and IB, French MYP and IB, and Spanish MYP and IB.
For the program, students must complete a Personal Project in their 10th grade year and sign a contract, write Internal Assessments for World Literature, Mathematics, Humanities; create 12 art pieces to be sent off with their Developmental Workbooks; and take an exam in Language, Math, Humanities, Science, Psychology, Theory of Knowledge, and a foreign language in the IB Diploma years. If the composite score of the IB exam is high enough, then the student may qualify for the IB Diploma. Students who aren't as esteemed are granted the IB scholarship. Community Service (CAS hours) is calculated into the equation. Davis Magnet Elementary serves IB grades K-5 and Northwest Middle School serves IB grades 6–8.

Hirschi Math/Science International Baccalaureate Magnet High School, commonly known as Hirschi High School or HHS, was a four-year public high school in Wichita Falls, Texas, located at 3106 Borton Lane. It was an accredited International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering the Diploma (IBDP) and Middle Years Program (MYP) to students wishing to pursue advanced academic study in mathematics, science, English, Spanish, French, history, and the arts. Hirschi, an award-winning member of the Magnet Schools of America Association, also offered its students hands-on instruction in aviation, studio/visual art, and nursing. Hirschi was one of three high schools prior to 2024 that were overseen by the Wichita Falls Independent School District (WFISD) and the Texas Education Agency.
North Miami Senior High School (NMSHS) is a public high school in North Miami, Florida, United States. Located at 13110 NE 8th Avenue, The school opened as Edward L. Constance Junior-Senior High School in 1951; with 1,500 students in 7th, 8th and 9th grades. Another grade was added each year for the next three years. The class of 1955 was the first graduating class. Early in 1955, the name of the school was changed to North Miami Senior High School. In the fall of 1955 the 7th, 8th and 9th grades were moved to the new North Miami Junior High School.

In 2012 and various other years, U.S. News & World Report ranked the school as the best public high school in the state, and 20th in the nation. John W. Paisley Magnet School is a Middle school/High school located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It is home to the International Baccalaureate Middle Years program for students in grades six through ten. Paisley is a part of the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools system. In 2007, Paisley was recognized as a Magnet School of excellence; one of five in North Carolina and only fifty in the United States. Paisley has been an accredited IB/MYP school since 2004. Marion Pittman-Couch was principal during Paisley's process to become recognized by the IBO and retired in 2007. Paisley Magnet School is currently searching for a new principal. Paisley houses more than 800 students from Forsyth County and the region. Students must complete a magnet school application for admission to Paisley if they are not a resident in Paisley's home school zone. The eleventh and twelfth grade IB Diploma Programme is housed at Parkland High School. The IB Primary Years Programme begins at Speas Elementary School for grades K–5.
