Diaz-Infante played college football at San Jose State University. Inducted into SJSU Sports Hall of Fame, and Bellarmine College Prep Hall of Fame. Diaz-Infante was a Voice of Denver Broncos Color Analyst for the Denver Bronco's Radio Network. He was recently named the head coach of the Bellarmine Bells, the 7th football coach in the school's history.

William L. Stewart, nicknamed "Stew", was an American football coach. He was named interim head coach of the West Virginia Mountaineers after Rich Rodriguez left for Michigan in December 2007. After leading the Mountaineers to a 48–28 victory over the Oklahoma Sooners in the Fiesta Bowl, he was named the school's 32nd head football coach on January 3, 2008. Stewart resigned in the summer of 2011. He was previously the head coach of Virginia Military Institute for three seasons.

The 2022 Fiesta Bowl was a college football bowl game played on December 31, 2022, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The game was the 52nd annual playing of the Fiesta Bowl, one of the two semifinals of the 2022–23 College Football Playoff (CFP) semifinals, and was one of the bowl games concluding the 2022 FBS football season. The game began at approximately 2:00 p.m. MST and aired on ESPN. It featured two of the four teams chosen by the selection committee to participate in the playoff: the TCU Horned Frogs from the Big 12 Conference and the Michigan Wolverines from the Big Ten Conference. The winner qualified for the 2023 College Football Playoff National Championship against the winner of the other semifinal, hosted at the Peach Bowl.
