John (Jack) E. Ducharme III is an American politician who has served as a member of the Maine House of Representatives since December 7,2022. He represents Maine's 71st House district. [1] He graduated from Thomas College and earned his B.S. in Business Administration. [2]

The University of Southern Maine (USM) is a public university with campuses in Portland,Gorham and Lewiston in the U.S. state of Maine. It is the southernmost of the University of Maine System. It was founded as two separate state universities,Gorham Normal School and Portland University. The Maine House of Representatives is the lower house of the Maine Legislature. The House consists of 151 voting members and three nonvoting members. The voting members represent an equal number of districts across the state and are elected via plurality voting. The nonvoting members represent three of Maine's Native American tribes,though two tribes have declined to send representatives. Each voting member of the House represents around 9,000 citizens of the state. Because it is a part-time position,members of the Maine House of Representatives usually have outside employment as well. Members are limited to four consecutive terms of two years each,but may run again after two years.

Founded in 1906,Phi Eta Kappa has remained unaffiliated with any national organizations,choosing instead to preserve their local tradition. Since 1910 the "Green Wave," as it is known,have been located in a fraternity house on College Avenue in Orono,Maine. There are currently over 1,000 living alumni of Phi Eta Kappa.

Yves Ducharme is a Canadian politician who was the Mayor of Gatineau from 2002 to 2005 after the city had been merged with its neighbours,part of the supra-organization known as the Communautéurbaine de l'Outaouais,and was Mayor of Hull,in the Outaouais region,from 1992 to 2002. He was defeated in an election in 2005 by Marc Bureau and decided to quit municipal politics. He became president of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities.
