Johan Coenraad Froneman is a South African retired judge who was a justice of the Constitutional Court of South Africa from October 2009 to May 2020. He joined the judiciary as a judge of the Eastern Cape Division in 1994 and was elevated to the apex court by President Jacob Zuma. He was also the inaugural Deputy Judge President of the Labour Court of South Africa between 1996 and 1999.

Lorimer Eric Leach is a South African retired judge who served in the Supreme Court of Appeal from 2009 to 2020. He is best known for writing the judgement in which the Supreme Court found Oscar Pistorius guilty of murder. Before his elevation to the appellate court,he was a judge of the Eastern Cape Division from 1993 to 2009,and he practised as an advocate in Grahamstown from 1976 to 1993,taking silk in 1990.
Selby Mfanelo Mbenenge is the Judge President of the Eastern Cape Division of the High Court of South Africa. He joined the bench as a puisne judge in July 2015 and was elevated to the judge presidency in November 2017. He was formerly an advocate and silk in East London and Mthatha.
Mandela Makaula is a South African judge who is currently serving in the Eastern Cape Division of the High Court of South Africa. He joined the bench in 2010 after two decades in practice as an attorney and magistrate in the Eastern Cape. He was an acting judge in the Supreme Court of Appeal in 2022.
