The Lower Brandywine is 20.4 miles (32.8 km) long and is a designated Pennsylvania Scenic River with several tributary streams. The East Branch and West Branch of the creek originate within 2 miles (3 km) of each other on the slopes of Welsh Mountain in Honey Brook Township, Pennsylvania, about 20 miles (32 km) northwest of their confluence.
Fishtown is a neighborhood in the River Wards section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. Located northeast of Center City Philadelphia, its borders are somewhat disputed today due to many factors, but are roughly defined by the triangle created by the Delaware River, Frankford Avenue, and York Street. Some newer residents expand the area to Lehigh Avenue, while some older residents shrink the area to Norris Street. The Claymont Stone School, also known as Naaman's Creek School #1, is a historic schoolhouse built in 1805, on land donated by Founding Father John Dickinson, in Claymont, Delaware, on the Philadelphia Pike just south of the Darley House. The school was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. Its official Delaware State Historic Marker indicates that the school "may have been the first racially integrated public school in the State."

Probably built about 1750, this stone house is notable as the home of U.S. Founding Father Gunning Bedford Jr. (1747-1812), a delegate to the Constitutional Convention and a signer of the U. S. The Joseph Carpenter Silversmith Shop is a historic building that was built between 1772 and 1774 on the green in Norwichtown, now a section of Norwich, Connecticut. It is a 30 feet (9.1 m) by 24 feet (7.3 m) 1+1⁄2-story clapboarded building with a gambrel roof. The interior has a single brick chimney that was used for the forge, but it has been modified and adapted for modern use with modern doors, electric lighting and heat, and a disappearing overhead stairway that leads to the attic. Joseph Carpenter (1747–1804) was a successful of silversmith, clockmaker, and pewterer, and shared the building with his brother, a merchant. The shop was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 6, 1970, and was listed as a contributory property for the Norwichtown Historic District on January 17, 1973.
The Callahan House, also known as the Jacob Helm House, is a historic home located in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area south of Milford, in Dingman Township, Pike County, Pennsylvania. It was built in two sections, with the older dated to about 1800 and the later to about 1820. It is a long, 1+1⁄2-story, clapboard-clad frame dwelling with a steep gable roof. It features exposed chimney backs at the first floor exterior in the Dutch style, and a porch along the newer wing.
Fairville, Pennsylvania is an unincorporated area in southern Chester County which developed in the early nineteenth century about a mile north of the Pennsylvania-Delaware border. It is a linear village along the Kennett Pike that runs between Kennett Square, Pennsylvania and Wilmington, Delaware. Businesses along the road served both travelers on the road and residents of nearby farms. The village or hamlet extends about 500 yards along both sides of Kennett Pike from Fairville Road to Hickory Hill Road.
Dingman's Ferry Dutch Reformed Church is a historic Dutch Reformed church located on U.S. Route 209 in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area at Dingman's Ferry, Delaware Township, Pike County, Pennsylvania. It was designed in 1837, and built in 1850 in the Greek Revival style. It is a two-story, clapboard clad frame building with a gable roof. It features a large gabled portico supported by four heavy Doric order columns.

Capt. Ebe Chandler House is a historic home located at Frankford, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in 1880, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, six bay, double-pile frame dwelling in the Victorian Gothic style. It has a gable roof with two massive cross gables and lancet windows. Elaborate Carpenter Gothic and eclectic detailing were added in 1918. The front porch features corner gazebos, located at each of the front corners of the porch. It has been converted to two duplex apartments. Capt. Ebe Chandler purchased the house in 1918, and was a local politician, civic leader, and a spiritualist medium.
Carpenter-Lippincott House is a historic home located at Centreville, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built about 1840, and is a three-story, stuccoed stone dwelling in the Italianate-style. It consists of two, well-defined rectangular blocks. The main block is surmounted by a square cupola on its low-hipped roof with projecting eaves and it features an enclosed porch with cast iron lattice work.
