Social Theory and Practice is a peer-reviewed academic journal that features discussion of theoretical and applied questions in social, political, legal, economic, educational, and moral philosophy, including critical studies of classical and contemporary social philosophers. The World Congress of Philosophy is a global meeting of philosophers held every five years under the auspices of the International Federation of Philosophical Societies (FISP). First organized in 1900, these events became firmly established after the Second World War. Each World Congress is sponsored by one of the member societies in a different country, which assumes responsibility for the organization of that Congress. The purpose of these events is to contribute to the development of professional relations between philosophers of all countries, promote philosophical education, and contribute to the impact of philosophical knowledge on global problems. The 24th World Congress of Philosophy was held in Beijing in August 2018. The 25th World Congress of Philosophy will take place in Rome in 2024.
Midwest Studies in Philosophy is an annual journal in the analytic tradition. It was established in 1976 by Peter French, Theodore Uehling, Jr., and Howard Wettstein at the University of Minnesota, and has been published without interruption since that time. Each volume is an anthology of invited contributions on a particular topic. The journal was published by Wiley from 1999-2019 with a SHERPA/RoMEO "yellow" self-archiving policy. The journal is edited by Yuval Avnur, Peter French, and Howard Wettstein and published by the Philosophy Documentation Center.
The American Catholic Philosophical Quarterly is a peer-reviewed academic journal sponsored by the American Catholic Philosophical Association. It was founded in 1927 as The New Scholasticism and adopted its current title in 1990. The journal publishes articles and book reviews covering the entire range and history of Western philosophical thought. Contributions on non-Western philosophy are also published, especially if they shed light upon issues in the Western tradition. The journal is not committed to any particular school of philosophy and contributions variously employ analytical, phenomenological, Thomistic, historical, and other methods. Nevertheless, it typically prefers contributions on topics or thinkers that are of special interest to Catholic thought. Thus, almost every issue usually carries at least one article on Thomas Aquinas. Pieces on medieval thought are well represented as well, as are essays in the philosophy of religion and philosophical theology.

Techné: Research in Philosophy and Technology is a peer-reviewed academic journal with a focus on philosophical analysis of technological systems. Established in 1995 as the Society for Philosophy and Technology Quarterly Electronic Journal, it has continuously published in electronic format under its present name since 2000. Techné is sponsored by the Society for Philosophy and Technology and published for the society by the Philosophy Documentation Center. The current editors-in-chief are Kirk Besmer and Ashley Shew.
Epoché: A Journal for the History of Philosophy is a peer-reviewed academic journal about the history of philosophy and its essential role in contemporary philosophical discussion. The journal is open to different ideas and approaches, but it is particularly interested in articles from the continental or hermeneutic traditions. The journal is edited by Theodore George. It is published twice yearly on a non-profit in cooperation with the Philosophy Documentation Center and all issues are available online.
International Studies in Philosophy is a peer-reviewed academic journal, formerly published by the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies in Philosophy, Interpretation, and Culture, at Binghamton University. The journal began publishing under this title with volume 6 in 1974. Notable contributors included Joseph Agassi, Bruce Aune, Milton Fisk, Véronique Fóti, Rom Harré, Kathleen Higgins, François Lapointe, Alexander Nehemas, Kai Nielson, and Richard Schacht. The journal was established in 1969 by Augusto Guzzo and Giorgio Tonelli, and its first five volumes were published as Studi Internazionali di Filosofia.

The Proceedings of the American Catholic Philosophical Association is an annual series containing papers presented at the meetings of the American Catholic Philosophical Association. Each year the association sponsors a conference organized around a particular philosophical topic and all papers presented at the main sessions are published the following year in the Proceedings. Each volume is an edited anthology and the secretary of the association serves as editor-in-chief. All papers presented at the conference are subject to peer review, although the acceptance rate varies depending on the number of papers submitted. The series is published on behalf of the association by the Philosophy Documentation Center.
New Vico Studies was a peer-reviewed academic journal that examined current scholarship on the Italian philosopher Giambattista Vico. It was published annually in print and electronic formats by the Philosophy Documentation Center, in cooperation with the Institute for Vico Studies at Emory University. Established in 1983, it ceased publication of new issues in 2010 with the completion of Volume 27 (2009).
Social Philosophy Today is a peer-reviewed interdisciplinary journal sponsored by the North American Society for Social Philosophy. It was established in 1988 by founding editors Yeager Hudson and Creighton Peden. The journal provides a forum for in-depth discussion of contemporary social issues. Cultura: International Journal of Philosophy of Culture and Axiology is a biannual peer-reviewed academic journal that was established in 2004 and covers philosophical work exploring different values and cultural phenomena. The journal is published in print format by Peter Lang. Online access to all issues of Cultura from 2005 to the present is provided by the Philosophy Documentation Center.
Film and Philosophy is a peer-reviewed academic journal that examines films from a philosophical perspective. It was established in 1994 and is sponsored by the Society for the Philosophic Study of the Contemporary Visual Arts. The journal has examined various film genres, including horror and science fiction films, and contributed to feminist philosophy of film. It has also published special issues on ethical issues and existential themes in film, as well as philosophical themes in the films of Woody Allen. For many years the journal was edited by Daniel Shaw at Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. It is currently edited by Laura T. Di Summa. Publication of the journal is managed on the Society's behalf by the Philosophy Documentation Center.
