On 4 July 2023, a Palestinian resident of the West Bank carried out a vehicle-ramming and stabbing attack in Tel Aviv, Israel. Hamas later claimed that the individual was a member and the attack in response to the July 2023 Jenin incursion. [1] [2] [3]

On 4 July 2023, a 20-year-old Palestinian man from As-Samu in the West Bank injured nine people in Tel Aviv, Israel. [1] He deliberately drove a pickup truck into pedestrians on Pinchas Rosen Street in the north of the city. [1] He then got out of the vehicle and stabbed one of them in the neck. [1] A motorcyclist shot the attacker dead. [1] Out of the injured, a seriously injured pregnant woman lost her unborn child. [4]
Hamas said he was a member of their Islamist Palestinian nationalist militant group. [1] They praised the attack as heroic, saying it was revenge for the July 2023 Jenin incursion, which began the previous day. [1]

The 2010 Palestinian militancy campaign was a coordinated effort by 13 Palestinian militant groups, led by Islamist group Hamas, to derail peace talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. The campaign consisted of attacks against Israelis in the Israeli-occupied West Bank and Israel in which, according to a Hamas declaration in early September, "all options are open". The participating groups also included Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the Popular Resistance Committees and an unnamed splinter group of Fatah. Some Israeli and Palestinian officials and analysts familiar with Hamas believe that the true target of the campaign is the Palestinian Authority, which is led by Mahmoud Abbas of Fatah.
The 2011 Tel Aviv nightclub attack was a combined vehicular assault and stabbing attack carried out at 01:40 (GMT+2) 29 August 2011 in which a Palestinian attacker stole an Israeli taxi cab and rammed it into a police checkpoint guarding the popular nightclub, Haoman 17, in Tel Aviv which was filled with 2,000 Israeli teenagers. After crashing into the checkpoint, the attacker jumped out of the vehicle and began stabbing people. Four civilians, four police officers, and also perpetrator were injured in the attack. The perpetrator was living illegally in Israel at the time of the attack.
The 2014 Alon Shvut stabbing attack occurred on 10 November 2014, when Palestinian Maher al-Hashlamun first attempted to run his vehicle into a crowd waiting at the bus/hitch-hiking station at the entrance to the Israeli settlement of Alon Shvut, in the Gush Etzion section of the occupied West Bank, then, when the car was stopped by a bollard, got out and attacked with a knife, killing a young woman and wounding two others. The attack occurred four hours after the killing of Sergeant Almog Shiloni in Tel Aviv and took place at the same bus/hitch-hiking stop where three Israeli teenagers were kidnapped and murdered in June 2014.

On 16 June 2017, two Palestinian men opened fire on Israeli police officers in the Old City of Jerusalem, injuring four of them. An additional attacker stabbed a policewoman, she was critically injured, and later died in hospital. All three attackers were shot and killed by the Israeli authorities.
