The song's music video was directed by Sarah McColgan and premiered on 25 October 2016 on KDA's Vevo account. [2] It features Tinashe dancing in various neon-lit spaces, including a parking lot, a motel room, an empty roadside diner and a phone booth. [3] [4] [5]

Tinashe's debut album, Aquarius, was released on October 7, 2014. It debuted in the top twenty on the Billboard 200, and peaked within the top ten of the US, UK and Australian urban albums charts. Aquarius was supported by three singles. The lead single from the album was titled "2 On", and featured rapper ScHoolboy Q. "2 On" peaked at 24 on the Billboard Hot 100, and topped the US rhythmic chart. "2 On" also reached the top 30 in Australia, and entered the charts in Canada, France and the UK.
