Just Tryin' ta Live is the second solo studio album by American rapper Devin the Dude. It was released on August 27, 2002 via Rap-A-Lot Records. [4] Production was handled by mostly by Rob Quest, Michael "Domo" Poye and Mike Dean, alongside several other record producers including David Banner, DJ Premier, Dr. Dre and N.O. Joe. It features guest appearances from Odd Squad, Nas, Pooh Bear, Raphael Saadiq and Xzibit. The album has no charting singles, but it peaked at number 61 on the Billboard 200 in the United States.

The Dude is the debut solo studio album by American rapper Devin the Dude. It was released on June 16, 1998 via Rap-A-Lot Records. Production was handled mostly by Michael "Domo" Poye, alongside several other record producers including Joe Bythewood, N.O. Joe, Mr. Lee and Tone Capone. It features guest appearances from K.B., K-Dee, Scarface, Odd Squad, DMG and Spice 1 among others. The title of the album was a reference to the song The Dude by Quincy Jones. Waitin' to Inhale is the fourth solo studio album by American rapper Devin the Dude. It was released on March 20, 2007, through Rap-A-Lot Records, making it his final record for the label. Recording sessions took place at The Coughee Pot, Studio 7303 and Dean's List House of Hits in Houston. Production was handled by Domo, Chuck Heat, Mike Dean, Sendar, Davey D, Picnic Tyme, Rob Quest, and Devin himself. It features guest appearances from the Coughee Brothaz, André 3000, Bun B, Lil Wayne and Snoop Dogg.

Stephen Anderson, better known as Bud'da, is an American producer, songwriter, composer and rapper for artists such as Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Xzibit and Aaliyah. Through the successful Westside Connection stint, and the mutual acquaintance of fellow Pittsburgh producer Sam Sneed, Dr. Dre wanted to feature snippets of a Bud’da-produced track in the beginning and end of the 2pac & Dr. Dre video for “California Love,” off Tupac Shakur’s All Eyez on Me. Soon after Dr. Dre’s historic departure from Death Row Records, Bud’da was once again recruited by Dr. Dre to co-produce the lead single "Been There, Done That" off the Dr. Dre Presents the Aftermath album.

It was released as the album's fifteenth track on August 7, 2015 via Aftermath/Interscope Records along with the rest of the album. Recording sessions took place at Record One in Sherman Oaks and at Effigy Studios in Michigan. Produced by Dem Jointz and Focus..., the song features vocals from American rapper Eminem, South African singer Candice Pillay, and American recording artist Anderson .Paak, with additional vocals from Sly Jordan.
