KDC Racing was a Swiss auto racing team. KDC Racing was established [1] in February 2018 by Monisha Kaltenborn after leaving the Sauber Formula One team, however the team rapidly went bankrupt. [2]

History

KDC Racing was a partnership between Monisha Kalternborn and her business partner Emily di Comberti with the name KDC being derived from the initials of their surnames.

Although the team competed under a Swiss license the team was based in Granollers, which is near to the Circuit de Catalunya.

Aaron di Comberti and Leonardo Lorandi competed in 3 rounds of the 2018 ADAC Formula 4 Championship and Aaron di Comberti, Ilya Morozov and Toby Sowery competed in 2 rounds of the 2018 Italian Formula 4 Championship.

Soon after commencing operations the team was declared bankrupt in 2017 events with that team.

Monisha Kaltenborn is the Austrian former team principal of the Sauber Formula One team. She held a 33.3% stake in the outfit, until it was taken over by Longbow Finance S.A. in July 2016. She was the team's chief executive officer from January 2010 until 22 June 2017. She was the first female team principal in Formula One.

The 2019 Italian F4 Championship Powered by Abarth was the sixth season of the Italian F4 Championship. Norwegian driver Dennis Hauger dominated the championship, winning twelve out of the 21 races, helping his team Van Amersfoort Racing to become teams' champions. The rookie championship was won by Mercedes junior Paul Aron, who won two races in the overall championship. Hauger's closest challenger Gianluca Petecof won four races, and Roman Staněk, Joshua Dürksen and Giorgio Carrara won one race each.
