Kashish Malik is an Indian taekwondo athlete hails from Delhi, India. [1] [2] She has represented India at the Asian Games in 2018 and reached till the Quarter-finals. [3] [4] She is currently training under Peace Taekwondo Academy and supported by the Virat Kohli Foundation. [5] [6]

Kashish started practising taekwondo at the age of 14 after a fight with a bully happened in her school which made Kashish pick up taekwondo for life. [7] [8]

In the sport of cricket, sledging is the practice of deliberately insulting or verbally intimidating an opposing player. The 2023 Asia Cup was the 16th edition of the men's Asia Cup cricket tournament. The matches were played as One Day Internationals (ODIs) with Pakistan and Sri Lanka as the co-hosts for select matches involving India. It was held in Pakistan and Sri Lanka, between 30 August to 17 September 2023. The tournament was contested by 6 teams. Sri Lanka were the defending champions. It was the first Asia Cup to be held in multiple countries, with four matches being played in Pakistan and the remaining nine matches being played in Sri Lanka.

The Sri Lankan cricket team toured India in February and March 2022 to play two Test and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The Test series formed part of the 2021–2023 ICC World Test Championship. In September 2021, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed the schedule for the tour. In January 2022, Sri Lanka Cricket made a request to play the T20I matches first, as the T20I squad would be coming straight from their tour of Australia. In early February, the change was agreed by both boards, with Bangalore hosting a day/night Test match, with the BCCI confirming the revised tour schedule.
