Kathy Yvonne Taylor (born May 6, 1961) is an American gospel musician and artist. She started her music career, in 1999 as Kathy Taylor-Brown, with the release of Taylormade by Aleho International. This album was her breakthrough on the Billboard magazine charts, which it placed on the Gospel Albums chart. Her second album, Live: The Worship Experience as Kathy Taylor, was released by Tyscot Records in 2009. The album placed on the Gospel Albums along with chartings on The Billboard 200 and Independent Albums charts.

Early life

Taylor was born on May 6, [1] 1961, [2] in Houston, Texas as Kathy Yvonne Taylor, [3] and her mother is Doris, of whom she was the fourth child. [4]

Music career

Her music career started in 1999, with the release of Taylormade under the name Kathy Taylor-Brown, on November 16, 1999 by Aleho International Music. [5] This album was her breakthrough release on the Billboard magazine charts, placing on the Gospel Albums at No. 22. [6] She released her second album with Tyscot Records on January 27, 2009, Live: The Worship Experience, [7] and this charted on the aforementioned chart at No. 6, along with chartings on The Billboard 200 at No. 190 and Independent Albums chart at No. 22. [8]

Personal life

Taylor was married to Kenneth LaRue Brown, until his death in 2010. [9]

He is the worship leader at First Baptist Church of Glenarden, located in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, where he has served since June 2008.

William Earl Becton, Jr. is an American gospel musician. He started his music career, in 1995, with the release of, Broken, that was released by Intersound Records. His second album, Heart of a Love Song, was released by CGI Records in association with A&M Records in 1997. The third release, B2k: Prophetic Songs of Promise, was released by CGI Records in 2000. He released his fourth album, Broken, Vol. 2: Live, with Tyscot Records in 2003. He got all of his album to chart on the Billboard magazine Gospel Albums chart.

He released, Created 2 Worship, with Tyscot Records in 2009, and this was a Billboard magazine breakthrough release upon the Gospel Albums chart at number 34. He was nominated for a NAACP Theatre Award for his role in The Fabric of a Man by David E. Talbert.

Todd Anthony Dulaney is an American gospel musician, and former baseball player. His music career started in 2011, with the release of the CD version, Pulling Me Through. This would be his breakthrough released upon the Billboard Gospel Albums chart. He would release another album, A Worshipper's Heart, in 2016 with EntertainmentOne Nashville, and this would place even higher on the Gospel Albums chart.

LaRue Howard is an American gospel musician. Her first album, I'm Free, was released by Tribe Records in 2004. The subsequent album, How Great Is Our God, was released in 2008 by EMI. This album was a Billboard magazine breakthrough release upon the Christian Albums and Gospel Albums charts. The song, "How Great Is Our God", won her the GMA Dove Award for Contemporary Gospel Recorded Song of the Year at the 40th GMA Dove Awards in 2009.

Tiffany Joy McGhee, who goes by the stage name Tiff Joy, is an American urban contemporary gospel artist and musician. She started her music career, in 2014, by performing on an album by Ricky Dillard. Her first studio album, TIFF JOY, was released on September 25, 2015 by WalkWay Music Group, VMan Entertainment, and Tyscot Records. This album was her breakthrough release upon the Billboard magazine charts.

Danetra Shari Moore is an American urban contemporary gospel artist and musician. She started her music career, in 2012, by performing on Sunday Best on BET.
