Robert "Bob" Rita is a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives for the 28th District since January 8, 2003. Rita is also the Calumet Township Democratic committeeman and a trustee on the township board. His state representative district includes parts of Chicago's 9th and 34th wards, as well as several suburbs. Rita lists economic redevelopment, equitable school funding and increased health care availability as his top priorities in the state legislature. Rita is an Operating Engineer and a member of Local #150. He is currently being investigated for felony intimidation following an incident in Orland Park, IL on October 4. 2023.

Most notably Kelly Cassidy was the chief sponsor of House Bill 1438, making Illinois the first state to legalize the Adult-Use of Cannabis through legislature as opposed to a ballot measure.

Prior to her election to the Illinois House of Representatives, she served as a member of the East St. Louis City Council and Director of Human Resources for East St. Louis School District 189. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University and a Master of Public Administration from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.

A native of Woodhull, he served as a member of the Henry County Board and a lieutenant colonel in the Illinois Army National Guard prior to his election to the Illinois House of Representatives.
Michael T. Marron was a Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives from the 104th district. The 104th district includes parts of Champaign and Vermilion counties in east-central Illinois. Marron was sworn into office September 7, 2018 after his July 22, 2018 appointment to succeed Chad Hays. Marron, who was the Republican candidate to succeed Hays at the time of his appointment, won the 2018 general election against Democratic candidate Cynthia Cunningham.
Lakesia Collins is an American union organizer and politician serving as a Democratic member of the Illinois Senate for the 5th district, located on the West Side of Chicago. She previously served as a member of the Illinois House of Representatives for the 9th district from 2020 to 2023. Collins won the Democratic primary election for the 5th district in the House in 2020, and was appointed to the seat shortly afterwards to replace retiring incumbent Art Turner. She won election to full terms in 2020 and 2022, and served as the Treasurer for the Illinois Legislative Black Caucus. On August 16, 2023, she was appointed to the 5th district seat in the Senate to replace retiring incumbent Patricia Van Pelt.
David A. Vella is a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives from the 68th district since January 13, 2021. The 68th district covers parts of Cherry Valley, Loves Park, Machesney Park, Rockford, and Roscoe.
