"Kaya Natin Ito!" (We Can Do It!) is a charity single made to benefit the victims of the Typhoon Ondoy (Ketsana) and Typhoon Pepeng (Parma) in 2009 that killed more than half a million people all over the country. [1] [2]
The song was written by Ogie Alcasid, a famous singer/composer in the Philippines. This song was served as an inspiration to all victims to stand up and continue the journey. From the overflowing rivers to raging flashfloods in the Metro Manila area, up to the non-stop rains in the Northern Luzon came up with thousands of death, loss of belongings and much poverty. The song was sung by more than 50 Filipino artists, including their well-known artists like Lea Salonga, Gary Valenciano, Regine Velasquez, Sharon Cuneta, Martin Nievera, Jaya and many more. Alcasid also made part of the song.

Regina Encarnacion Ansong Velasquez is a Filipino singer and actress. She is considered one of the most influential figures in Philippine popular culture and is known for her vocal range and belting technique. She had unorthodox voice training during her childhood, where she was immersed neck-deep in the sea. Velasquez rose to prominence after winning the television talent show Ang Bagong Kampeon in 1984 and the Asia Pacific Singing Contest in 1989. Under the name Chona, she signed a recording contract with OctoArts International in 1986 and released the single "Love Me Again", which was commercially unsuccessful. The following year, she adopted the stage name Regine Velasquez for her debut studio album, Regine (1987), under the guidance of Viva Records executive Vic del Rosario and producer Ronnie Henares. She explored Manila sound and kundiman genres on her second and third studio albums, Nineteen 90 (1990) and Tagala Talaga (1991).

Alejandro "Andy" Pascual Alviz is a Filipino musician and leader of the musical group ArtiSta.Rita. He seeks to promote the traditional music of his home province of Pampanga both through original compositions and by taking older songs and setting them to a modern beat. His best-known songs include "Masayang Kebaitan", and "Kapampangan ku". "Kapampangan ku", meaning "I am a Kapampangan", was the lead song on the album of the same name; through this song, Alviz sought to elicit feelings of hope and unity among the people of his province. The album was released on November 21, 2010 by Universal Records, which was her second full-length studio album under Universal after Low Key in 2008. The two-disc album contains both pop and mid-tempo sounds, as well as some softer and more contemporary melodies. The first disc contains new Original Pilipino Music (OPM) materials while the second disc contains cover songs from various artists. This two-disc album also consists of two packaging editions, the "colored one" and the "black & white edition", with each containing collector's item photo cards and the CDs. The photos used were taken by photographer Mark Nicdao. The album debuted at number one spot and was certified Gold Award after two weeks upon released. Fantasy was nominated at the 24th Philippine Awit Awards for Album of the Year and Best Performance by a Female Recording Artist for the song You Don't Know.

Regine Rocks was a concert tour by Filipino singer Regine Velasquez. It commenced on November 25, 2023, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila and concluded on April 19, 2024. The shows in the United States began in February 2024 which visited select cities in California. It was initially conceived as a celebration of Velasquez's 35th anniversary since her professional debut, and was promoted as the lead-up event following her concert residency Solo at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater, which ran from February to April 2023. The concert's premise stems from Velasquez's desire to perform rock music and elements of subgenres such as pop rock, and slow rock. The show spans over 2.5 hours, with a set list of 33 songs, including music from rock artists such as Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Coldplay, Guns N' Roses, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Queen, Radiohead, and the Rolling Stones.
