Kazi Nazrul Islam was a Bengali poet, writer, musician, film actor and the national poet of Bangladesh. Popularly known as Nazrul, he produced a large body of poetry and music with themes that included religious devotion and rebellion against oppression. Nazrul's activism for political and social justice earned him the title of "Bidrohi Kobi". His compositions form the avant-garde music genre of Nazrul Geeti.

Fazlur Rahman Babu is a Bangladeshi actor and singer. He won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor three times for his roles in the films Shonkhonaad (2004), Meyeti Ekhon Kothay Jabe (2016) and Fagun Haway (2019). He has also been featured in an Indian film.

She was awarded Ekushey Padak in 1998 by the Government of Bangladesh for her contribution to music.
Kanak Chapa is a Bangladeshi singer. She received the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer three times, for her performance in the films Love Story (1995), Premer Taj Mahal (2001) and Ek Takar Bou (2008). She published her autobiography Sthobir Jajabor in 2011 and a poetry book Mukhomukhi Joddha in 2012.
Sahana Bajpaie is a Bengali singer-songwriter from Santiniketan and one of the most prominent contemporary Rabindra Sangeet vocalists in West Bengal and Bangladesh. By the age of 13, she started singing. She released her debut album Notun Kore Pabo Bole in 2007, which was a collection of Rabindra Sangeet. Her second album Shikawr released in 2014 with several musicians from West Bengal. Sahana's second Rabindra Sangeet album Ja Bolo Tai Bolo was released in 2015 and the latest solo album, Mon Bandhibi Kemone in 2016.
Somnur Monir Konal is a Bangladeshi singer and television host who is best known as a playback singer for Bangladeshi films. She got her start in the entertainment industry by winning the musical reality show Channel i Shera Kontho in 2009. Since then she has recorded songs for dozens of films, hosted various television shows, and judged the 2019 edition of children's musical reality show Ganer Raja. In 2016, she and Belal Khan shared the Symphony-Channel i Music Award in the category best playback singer for their duet "Jotodin Dhore Bachi" in the 2015 film Ochena Hridoy. She received the Bharat Bangladesh Film Award in 2019 in the category Best Playback-singer Female (Bangladesh).
