Cornelis Constant Maria (Kees) Vendrik (30 January 1963 in Nijmegen) is a member of the Netherlands Court of Audit.
Nijmegen is a city in the Dutch province of Gelderland, on the Waal river close to the German border.
Vendrik was a member of the House of Representatives for GreenLeft. He used to be the party's specialist on the economy, finance, the health care system and international trade. He is an advocate of the use of open source software by government agencies.

Vendrik studied political science at the Radboud University Nijmegen and the University of Amsterdam. After his studies he worked for the debating centre De Balie in Amsterdam and as assistant of GreenLeft parliamentary party in the House of Representatives.

It deals extensively with the theory and practice of politics which is commonly thought of as determining of the distribution of power and resources. GreenLeft is a green political party in the Netherlands. It was formed on 1 March 1989 from the merger of four left-wing parties: the Communist Party of the Netherlands, the Pacifist Socialist Party, the Political Party of Radicals and the Evangelical People's Party.

Femke Halsema is a Dutch politician and filmmaker. On 27 June 2018 she was appointed Mayor of Amsterdam and began serving a six-year term on 12 July 2018. She is the first woman to hold the position. She previously was a member of the House of Representatives for the leftist green party GroenLinks from 1998 to 2011, and served as the party's parliamentary leader from 2002 to 2010.

From December 16, 2010 to October 5, 2012 she was Party leader as well as Parliamentary group leader of the GreenLeft party in the House of Representatives, replacing Femke Halsema who announced her retirement from politics as of that date.

Johannes "Hans" van den Doel was a Dutch politician of the Labour Party (PvdA). He served as a Member of the House of Representatives from 23 February 1967 until 28 August 1973. A economist and political scientist by occupation. He worked as a professor of political science at the Radboud University Nijmegen from 1973 until 1975 when he became a professor of economics at the University of Amsterdam. In 1981 he suffered a cerebral infarction at the age of 44, he survived but became paralyzed and there was an end to his scientific career. The last 30 years of his life he was largely disabled.
