Petrus Leonardus Bastiaan Antonius "Pieter" van Geel (born 8 April 1951) is a retired Dutch politician Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA) party and urban planner.
He was State Secretary of Housing,Spatial Planning and the Environment from 2002 until 2007 and a member of the House of Representatives in 2002,2003 and from 2006 till 2010.

The Theological University of Apeldoorn (TUA) is the Dutch theological university of the Christian Reformed Churches. More than 130 students study at the university in Apeldoorn. The theological course lasts six years. The student is in the bachelor's program for the first three years. This has a more orientating character,and includes the languages Classic Greek and Koine Greek,Latin and Biblical Hebrew. The Nederlandsche Vereeniging voor Ambachts- en Nijverheidskunst (V.A.N.K.) was founded in 1904. It was founded by Jacob Pieter van den Bosch,Herman Hana,Klaas van Leeuwen,Theo Molkenboer,and Willem Penaat. At the turn of the century the idea of artist-craftsmen was emerging. The existing Dutch societies and clubs for painters and architects did not adequately represent these artisans and they formed V.A.N.K.,the first society for designers in the Netherlands.
Jan Frans van Geel was a Flemish sculptor,draugthsman and art educator. He is mainly known for his church furniture,statues of saints,mythological ensembles and allegorical figures. He was a teacher and director at the Academy of Arts of Mechelen and teacher of sculpture at the Academy of Arts of Antwerp. He was one of the last Flemish sculptors who worked in the Flemish Baroque style in sculpture,which was popular in the Habsburg Netherlands in the 17th and 18th centuries.
