Ewout Irrgang (born 20 July 1976 in Utrecht) is a former Dutch politician, anti-globalization activist and banking employee. As a member of the Socialist Party (Socialistische Partij) he was an MP from 6 October 2005 to 19 September 2012. He focused on matters of finance, development aid and globalization.

Irrgang studied political science at VU University Amsterdam and economics at the University of Amsterdam. He is the founder and head of the New Republican Society.

Baron Willem Ewout van Asbeck is a former field hockey player from the Netherlands, who was a member of the Dutch National Team that finished sixth in the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. His brother Peter was also part of the Holland squad, that competed in California. Van Asbeck earned a total number of 108 caps, scoring eleven goals, in the years 1978-1984. After the LA Games he retired from international competition.

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012 was the tenth edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest. It took place at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam, Netherlands on 1 December 2012. Dutch broadcaster AVRO was the host broadcaster for the event. For the second time the Netherlands hosted the contest, after hosting the contest in 2007 in Rotterdam. The show was hosted by Kim-Lian van der Meij for a second time, this time joined by Ewout Genemans. The motto for the contest was "Break The Ice".

M.J.A. "Thijs" Reuten is a Dutch politician of the Labour Party (PvdA). He began his career as a policy advisor of the party's parliamentary group in the House of Representatives and was a member of the Amsterdam municipal council in the years 2002–07. He then served for two terms as a district alderman in Amsterdam-Oost with a focus on housing and the economy.
