Patrick Travis Swilling is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He played for the New Orleans Saints, Detroit Lions, and the Oakland Raiders. He had five Pro Bowl appearances in his NFL career and was the Associated Press (AP) NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1991. He served from 2001 to 2004 as a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives.

After his playing career ended, Hamilton became an administrator and coach. He has served as the running backs coach for Georgia State University and currently works in the recruiting department for his alma mater, Georgia Tech.
Marco Darnell Coleman is an American football coach and former player who is the defensive line coach for Georgia Tech and former assistant defensive line coach for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). A former American football defensive end, the fourteen-year veteran originally was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the 1992 NFL draft as a first round pick. He played at Georgia Tech and won the 1990 college football national championship and went to one Pro Bowl before retiring from professional football after the 2005 season.

Joseph Napoleon "Big Chief" Guyon was an American Indian from the Ojibwa tribe (Chippewa) who was an American football and baseball player and coach. He played college football at the Carlisle Indian Industrial School from 1912 to 1913 and Georgia Tech from 1917 to 1918 and with a number of professional clubs from 1919 to 1927. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1966 and the College Football Hall of Fame in 1971.

He played college football for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second round of the 2004 NFL draft. Smith also played for the Baltimore Ravens and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Calvin Johnson Jr. is an American former professional football wide receiver who played in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons with the Detroit Lions. Nicknamed "Megatron" after the Transformers character of the same name, he is regarded as one of the greatest wide receivers of all time. He played college football for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, winning the Fred Biletnikoff Award as a junior, and was selected by the Lions second overall in the 2007 NFL draft.
Dallas Rufus Guthrie was an American football player who played for the Georgia Institute of Technology. He played collegiately for the Georgia Tech football team. He was inducted into the Georgia Tech Hall of Fame in 1971. Although drafted and signed as a professional he never played due to injury. He was selected as the 10th pick in the 1963 NFL draft by the Los Angeles Rams. He was also selected as the 10th pick in the first round American Football League (AFL) draft of that year by the San Diego Chargers. The Chargers won the competition for Guthrie and signed him to a professional contract. He attended the Chargers training camp and was on the field for the team's first exhibition game. On the opening play of the game, a kick-off, Guthrie was injured. He never played in a regular season game for the Chargers. After football, he established a successful career in real estate and died in 2000 from brain cancer.

He played college football for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, earning third-team All-American honors in 2009. He was selected by the Broncos in the first round of the 2010 NFL draft. With Denver, Thomas made five Pro Bowls and won Super Bowl 50 against the Carolina Panthers. He was also a member of the Houston Texans, New England Patriots, and New York Jets.
