Kevin Wolthausen (born December 27, 1957) is an American football coach and former linebacker. He is the co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at East Tennessee State University, a position he has held since 2024.

Coaching career

Wolthausen was hired as the defensive line coach for the Purdue Boilermakers football team on February 8, 2012. [1] Wolthausen was relieved of his duties the following season, when head coach Danny Hope was fired.

Wolthausen was named the FIU Panthers Special teams coach on February 4, 2013. [2]

On January 7, 2014, Wolthausen was named the defensive line coach and recruiting coordinator for the Connecticut Huskies football team under new head coach Bob Diaco. [3] Wolthausen was shifted to linebackers and special teams coach in 2016.

On June 2, 2017, Wolthausen returned to Purdue as a quality control coach for new head coach Jeff Brohm. [4]

In 2024, Wolthausen was named co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach for East Tennessee State. [5]

Kevin Steele is a former American football coach and player. Steele has previously worked as defensive coordinator at Miami, Auburn, LSU, Clemson, and coached inside linebackers at Alabama. From 1999 to 2002, Steele served as the head football coach at Baylor University, compiling a record of 9–36 overall and 1–31 in the Big 12 Conference.

Brian VanGorder is an American football coach and former player. He was the defensive coordinator at Bowling Green State University, a position he assumed in 2019. Prior to that, he was defensive coordinator at the University of Louisville. He served as the head football coach at Wayne State University from 1992 to 1994, and Georgia Southern University in 2006, compiling a career college football record of 19–25. VanGorder was the defensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL) from 2008 to 2011, and also worked in the same capacity for the University of Georgia (2001–2004) and Auburn University (2012). VanGorder is married to the former Ruth Jones. His children are Molloy, Morgan, Mack, Montgomery, Malone, and Freddie.

Claude Neil Callaway is an American college football coach and former player who was most recently the offensive line coach for the Birmingham Stallions of the United Football League (UFL). Callaway served as the head football coach at University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) from 2007 to 2011, compiling a record of 18–42. A 1974 graduate of Central High School in Macon, Georgia, he played collegiately at the University of Alabama for coach Bear Bryant as a lineman and linebacker before graduating in 1978.

Tem Lukabu is an American football coach and former player who is the outside linebackers coach for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). Tyler Stockton is an American college football coach and former player who serves as the co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach at Boise State University. He spent four years on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team, where he played part of one season as a defensive lineman. He spent time coaching at the University of Connecticut, Western Illinois University and Ball State University before arriving at Boise State.
